The deal was facilitated by the subsidiary (OandO Trading) which was responsible for the sale of all crude and gas. So it makes sense, especially for transparency, for the lenders to arrange an offtaker. However, I believe that a good chunk of the proceeds will return to OandO else how will they fund their operations and those humongous management expenditure... ![]() Sunrisepebble: |

Oando is going down as anticipated, but some people will soon argue that their break-even point, abi BE, is below 1 naira, LOL. |

Like I said here before, Trump is counting on the idea that the world needs the U.S. more than the U.S. needs the world. But this can’t go on for long—if it does, the resulting inflation that Americans will feel could be severe, potentially leading to mass protests. There’s a reason international trade exists: it helps keep costs down. Without it, things are about to get a lot more expensive for the average American. And by the way, if Trump’s logic is that the world has been ripping America off, then how has the U.S. been comfortably paying for its trade deficit? By printing more dollars, of course. In other words, America has been enjoying foreign goods by simply printing money. That’s wild when you think about it. ![]() |
