The question is: How many investors are/were not in the market now aside Agba and Oga Mendes911?
What's the percentage?
Many already positioned before and after dividend announcement.
I don't expect any sane person to laugh anybody for being in the market when this unexpected came up.
** And then, how to mitigate against losses should be one our discussions here, as our brothers keepers.

During COVID-19 period, that was how it caught many investors that positioned unaware, only the brave, with God on their side were able to whether the storm.......but the very good thing still was: God took us thru the period and we still overcame.
Right ✅️
These things are part of the game
So we deal with it

MARKET VOLATILITY IS NOT THE ENEMY. MR FEAR IS.
Winners Stay the Course: Volatility as an Opportunity
Market volatility often unsettles investors, but history demonstrates that those who remain steadfast tend to emerge stronger. Short-term price fluctuations may create uncertainty, yet they also offer opportunities for disciplined investors to acquire quality assets at discounted valuations.
Volatility is an inherent characteristic of equity markets, influenced by economic cycles, policy shifts, and investor sentiment. Rather than reacting emotionally to market turbulence, successful investors treat pullbacks as strategic entry points to reinforce their portfolios.
Staying invested through periods of uncertainty allows investors to benefit from long-term compounding and the market’s natural tendency to recover and grow. In the end, those who remain focused on their strategy – rather than short-term noise – position themselves to emerge as winners when stability returns. As an investor, your long-term investment strategy must not be obstructed by fear.

* Honestly, the way some people are going about this Trump induced bear is not helping the newbies and new comers to this market......
Fair play but we must balance the message we preach on this forum to newbies and not insulting anyone who is bearish - markets can go up/down or trade sideways

I believe NSE is about to enter a bear season and it’s too early to advise newbies to buy, the trade war is just starting.

Moreover, Trump’s unpredictability is an ongoing global problem and he’s not handling the tariffs negotiations the right way. However, if you have itching fingers buy good quality dividends paying stocks or stash your funds in MMF. Most are still offering over 20%, Cowrywise is about 22% and they don’t charge administrative fees

In all you do, newbie’s please avoid Oando for now. The management is insincere and the stock has to close the gap up from N12

Even NAHCO, with all its glory and success, is seeing tomato red. But wait—fundamental analysis has taught me that price is a weak imitation of value. I also know that markets are dynamic and require constant balancing—buyers must meet sellers to maintain equilibrium.

So, if sellers can’t find buyers and they really need to sell, they’ll have to sell cheap. Is that what’s happening? Are buyers on break mode due to current international events?

If that’s the case, then if you’re already in the stock, there’s no cause for alarm. And if you’re out, it’s better to wait for a reversal (TA) before starting to accumulate. Sometimes, stocks don’t move because of valuation issues, but simply due to an imbalance between the buy and sell sides.

They planned to increase working capital and also create liquidity.

* The initial OS was around 264million or thereabout.....
* After 1st bonus of 4:1, it increased to 1.2bn... just giving estimates here
* Now with 5:1, the OS will be around 7.2bn, which is still not too bogus considering their line of biz.
VFD should be another UCAP, if not better than UCAP self bcoz they have a wider range of good products....... In finances, health, hospitality, banking, asset management, etc.

Street, I thought you picked some when we discussed about it one time like that..

Cos I was picking for <450 and that wasn't the price as at last week 😅

That's why I was wondering how they recorded no change as per KarlTom post
Why are they all running?
Make them stay nau

I’m not sure why people are offloading. As for me; I will continue to buy here. Their current production from what I’m hearing is now close to 70kbpd, with the acquisition involved. It’s my retirement stock
