The movie just begins...
When two elephants fight it is majorly the turf that bears the brunt.
Our discussion now should be how we can be insulated from all these. Just imagine the kind of red that visited NSE in just one day that Trump sneezed from far away America.

The world will be a better place and safer with trump as usa president. The USA economy will do better when he finishes recalibrating it with all these policies. Usa economy was better in his first tenure than what that ghost called Joe turned it to be after taking over.He is a successful business man and not like corrupt Tpain and his gang of thieves in Nigeria .

I just read something on an international news medium and I am now convinced that all trump did was market manipulation. The said news medium also claimed that Trump himself literally gaveva buy signal before suspending the tariff.

Bought a few Aradel yesterday on full offer. Instant 10%. I also know many bought oando at very low price...

Registrars should be the least considered when investing in stocks.

Invest in good quality stocks that give returns on your investment and bother less about
the registrars.

NDIF They almost 20% of your holdings as dividend and they pay it 4 times a year

I don't think it is totally out of place to consider the registrar of the company one wants to invest in.
Some registrars are just terrible.

Congratulations on your Aradel coup. But your international media manipulation news is conspiracy theory, mixed with Trump Derangement Syndrome, plus fake news.
Trump cannot toy with the economic destiny of the world just for his personal MH or insider dealing.

You should do a test to see if there is too much stocks in your blood, since you believed this. grin

The US President is the most consequential world leader and there is much more to the affairs of the world than stocks dealing.

I think it is best you buy any good company of your choice. I don't even get to know Registrars of stocks I buy into until am in the stock. Except you are actually talking about stockbrokers.

You will be putting yourself at a disadvantage because the companies go with the registrars of their choice.
Imagine a stock like Nahco, Presco, Ucap, GTB etc, and you consider their registrars to be "bad" will you forgo investing in them because of their registrars? When it comes to registrars, you just have to manage them and find a way to get what you want from them; some of them are the product of a failed system. If the regulation is strong and well-positioned, they will not misbehave.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by megawealth01: 10:19am On Apr 10, 2025
I doubt manipulation being the reason for what Trump is doing anyways

World politics is another set of game and believe me TRUMP knows how to play it

Let me assume your claim to be true.

Where will these companies produce their goods?

The fact that Apple is alleged to have flown in 4 planes of iPhone says a lot about the potential impact.

PS: iPhone prices will almost triple IF Apple is to produce in America...

Ades1:
Most of these companies do not have factories in China! China does not allow foreigners own things! It is usually a joint venture kind of deal.

Apple has a manufacturing agreement with Foxconn, same applies with almost all if not all the other companies you listed.

The first American company to fully own and build a factory in China was Tesla.

I am sure there are other companies like Foxconn in other parts of the world ready to eat their lunch.

America will win by any means necessary

Our investment objectives are different and we should find a way to find what works for us.
I don't have to own any particular stock including the ones you mentioned before I succeed in this market.

📈 The market is open!

Green bubbles are lighting up early on the NGX as tickers like CHAMS (+9.73%), LASACO (+9.38%), and MBENEFIT (+9.3%) catch fresh bids.

But it’s not all sunshine, NGXGROUP (-9.26%), CAP (-7.45%), and JAPAULGOLD (-7.14%) are facing early pressure.

Track the pulse in real time on the website, where price meets pattern.
