Thanks. I didn't consider JIJI because I once advertised some Caterpillar equipment and I could not get to sell them on the platform. So I thought it is only for small items. I will give it a try.

debeey87:
I no be oga Emma but you can use J i j i to advertise. I've sold 2plots of land I advertised there before. You can post in the property session of nairaland as well.

i see you've been reading my post, well done....dont really care about people that bought this asset at 90 or 80 or 60, i sufficiently warned everyone about this market but you chose to be emotional about the asset. the markets have no emotions, you make your bed, you placed the order, deal with it period. For me, we are still waiting, and are prepared for oando, aradel and transpower. if e works fine, if e no work, there are other places to deploy our capital. we are here to make our own, not make others own. you think that professional TA is a bunch of random lines on the chart and choose not to invest in it or learn, but you follow the bandwagon and pay the price with your wrong entries, fomo, belated FA and ultimately parking your money. and when people like @eziokwunwoko ask for help, you seem to reprimand him without offering anything. not good. Folks don't realise that this is 2025 where there is tech, AI, tradingview and democratization of data etc, but still play this game with the 80's mindset.....In this game, your capital is your POWER, not TA or FA, once you're out of it, thats it, so you must actively guard it judiciously and place your orders with precision and patience. The people who have subscribed to our service can attest to that. that is how you make money in all markets bulls or bears alike...enjoy

@Oga Emma. Pls excuse me while I go slightly off subject. I said slightly cos I believe real estate is also investing. I have a plot located at a prime area that I want to sell directly myself without using an agent. Is it advisable to do it this way, and if so, where should I advertise it?
With the internet you can do it yourself. Try as much as possible to deal directly with prospective buyers provided you know the right media to use

Lol, people do technical analysis and make money. People do whatever it is you do, and they make money too. Personally though, this wave-based TA feels like a story told under the moonlight.

You made a lot of accusations in your previous posts. How do you conclude that Street strategy is obsolete and doesn’t make money? How can we be sure your Oando prediction wasn’t just a fluke that happened to go your way? You talk about your subscribers — can you provide a 4 to 5-year history of your trades, or at least an equity curve? As some clever people say, seeing is believing. Alternatively, we could track all your calls on this thread, along with their implied time frames (because without a time frame, anyone can claim anything), and compute whether you have a positive expectancy — but then again, who has that kind of time?

Eveerybody does what they know and feel is right, he did what he knows best-deal making- and he thinks is the best for his country...most economists strongly disagree with him but what i find most interesting is that after they have made their ascertions, they now field a fresh new perspective "What if he is right?"...no one has been able to answer that yet...

I think Trump just found out he can't fight every one at the same time. So he postponed the fight with the rest for 90days.
He is fighting china now, once he is done with china, he would face EU.

Asia and africa don't so much matter.
Saudi, Qatar, etc will not even listen to him. Those pple are just on their own.
Africa na carry go. America owns most african leaders.

If he fights the tariff war against the world at the same time, america will suffer in the short term.
Their export among other things will seriously fall

They have been many trade wars in 21st century, usually settled under trade agreements and many more to come....economies will adjust, consumers will experience some challenges, some people will cash out....one thing is that this is trumps turf cos last last there will be round table and agreements will have to be made and signed off.....its just that its difficult to imagine what the world will be like in these 4 years...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_war

What people fail to acknowledge is that events have a way of filtering into the charts before they become obvious. The theory is that the price action is a sum of all the information available to the market whether overt or covert (efficient market theory)

Let me give an example. The pipeline sabotage would be organised and sponsored by some key figures. Among these key figures, there is a possibility that a/some close allies are Oando shareholders and this information could filter to them. Then you suddenly see unexplained dumping before the event. It will show up in the chart before the event. There are many similar situations like that.

Look at ACCESS. Nobody knows why it suddenly became bearish. I would be surprised if it is not related to the upcoming results and dividend.

Most of the argument against TA are borne out of ignorance.
I used to be one of them in the past but the likes of fxuser and BBM were instrumental in my decision to learn one or two things about it's usefulness. I will forever be grateful to them.

Trump is trying to save face now. He thought China would have started begging by this point—but that hasn’t happened—so now it’s more about damage control. About 30% of the world’s goods come from China, and as of today, China has more manufacturing capacity than the U.S. It’s not a very clever move to start a trade war with them unless you already have capacity that’s equal or better. You need to start producing several things locally, and that kind of shift doesn't happen overnight—it takes time to build up.

It’s similar to what Tinubu did with the fuel subsidy—good intention, but rushed at a time when there was no local capacity. The move had potential but was poorly executed.

Anyway, like Nigeria, the U.S. is also dealing with mounting debt, and Trump might have gone down this path simply because there were no better alternatives. Still, if you ask me, it wasn’t well executed. Now, American citizens will have to bear the inflation that follows.

China will feel some pain too. They have a lot of production capacity that won’t be fully utilized for a while. But to be clear, China contributes significantly to global trade—from chemicals to machine parts to industrial equipment—all at unbeatable prices. The U.S. will either have to pay more for these goods in the meantime or learn to do without them.

I think Trump's leverage is that China exports a whole lot to USA but you are right that he wasn't counting on China being belligerent. Not everyone will agree to be publicly humiliated and bullied without fighting back
