They have started pressuring me to find husband at home - Nigerian amputee and disability advocate says as she shares stunning photo

A Nigerian amputee and disability advocate, Eva Chukwunelo, has said she's being pressured to find a ‘husband at home.’

The Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni disclosed this on X after sharing a stunning photo of herself wearing a prosthetic leg.

“Not every fine thing makes noise. Some just sit there, bold, quiet and you’ll still feel it in your chest,” she wrote on Thursday.

“They have started pressuring me to find husband at home. And they want nwoke Anambra. They said before September. Where do I want to find this man now? Me that’s planning to bring one demon for them."

Sometimes I envy the female gender. When you see an amputee among them or the one looking dejected, they'll still have men willing to date or sleep with them somehow

A male amputee or a dejected male on the street does not have same fate. Ladies will even spit on them if they have their way calling them smelly pigs or even worse names.

She us not, mandela Washington fellowship is sponsored by the US department state, you must be a resident of the continent before you can be sponsored for a fellowship period in the US and then you come back to Africa. If she was a US soldier she can't be a fellow.

Fine woman. I would have been interested if she no get legs at all. When i saw amputee, i thought it was both legs.

She still get one leg na. She go still fit run away. So i'm out.

Her face is my Spec....though.
