Hello house, I need your advice.
I applied to the University of Gloucestershire for a 2-year MRes program as early as December 2024 and recently received a conditional offer.
Yesterday, I asked my cousin (who is a student there) to help follow up with admissions. She was told that over 6,000 applications were received for the course, and unconditional offers will start being issued at the end of April.

Meanwhile, I also have an unconditional offer from the University of Bolton (now called the University of Greater Manchester) for a 1-year MRes. They’ve asked me to pay a deposit to receive my CAS.
However, I'm really worried because of several negative reviews online about Bolton:
People paid deposits and never received a CAS.
Some are still waiting for refunds 10 months later.
The name change is also a bit worrisome .
Now I’m confused and scared — should I wait for Gloucestershire or go ahead with Bolton despite the risks?

Please, I need your honest advice.

Usually first deposit is £5,500
Then the other payments are in 2/3 installments

It should be same for September intakes

I think deposit for this ur campus is 4k for CAS and 50% on enrollment... I don't know about the payment plan.

Well I believe they have good response rate and make things very easy due to their admissions team response, they will also give u a Counselor to help you with your process and any areas you have issues at no extra cost.

It was the counselor that helped me prepare for my Pre-Cas exams,visa application and others.

As for payment, mine was done from the UK,so it was fast and swift.

Do ur findings, not all Ulster branches are 5,500... Some are 4k then 50% on enrollment while some are 5,500

Nd at Birmingham branch 1 year Msc is 5,500 deposit while the remaining tuition is to be paid in first month in 2nd semester.

It's the 2years Msc that has 2/3 installment. Confirmed this yesterday and it's also on Birmingham campus website.

Please who can help with information on University of West London and Buckinghamshire New University MSc Nursing.

Please, I need a clarification on POF for my student VISA. I will appreciate your knowledgeable advice on this. If I have successfully run a POF for 28 days as required by UKVI, can I stop the POF from running after the 28 days and still apply for my student and dependant visas without any issue immediately afer the 28 days? Or is it adviseale to keep the POF running while throwing in my visa application?
