Streetinvestor2:Do not be quick to condemn Ote. If history is anything to go by, we should just be patient with him until he gets enough units. I believe Ote has all it takes to transform not just fbnh, but the entire banking sector( in terms of pricing lol) Go and look at what he has done everywhere he has been(including his short stay in transcorp) Just know when to leave cos he always leaves and it always crashes once he cashes out. Them dey use our eps build new headquarters |

olig:Lol. It's just to 'wet the appetite' of the shareholders. Glad I offloaded all my First bank last year and bought more shares of UBA just b4 that UBA interim dividend of N2. At that point the share price of first bank was even higher than that of UBA due to the billionaires fight for control. I cashed in on that to exit. |

SonofElElyonRet:This is Otedola style, he wants many people to sell off , so that he can buy almost all the shares. Then in several years, they will be declaring 20 naira dividend |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jonnysessy(m): 6:38am On Apr 18, 2025 |
DeRuggedProf:Baba is not the only shareholder. But, be that as it may the Baba still will get the highest dividend. Even if he declares N0.01k What I am finding difficult to understand is why Firstholdco will trade higher than Wema Bank, FCMB, Fidelity Bank and Access Bank. It had paid very poor dividend over the years and yet still command an enviable price. That is just the reason I maintain the tasere units I still have today. Still looking for the magic it will perform. Maybe, when it drop to like N15 ( where it is supposed to be ) I will buy more. @ Agbalowomeri what do you think ![]() |

jonnysessy:Even transcorp and UACN that declared 60 kobo and 22 kobo respectively have not dropped to N15 from their respective highs of around N44 and N35 respectively. GTCO that declared N7 couldn't close significantly on qualifications date from the price when it was announced. Then you have other companies without dividend and price remained where they are with some even appreciating in price. This stocks market na the more you look the less you see. |

unite4real:When it comes to the NGX, there are many factors that affect price, not only the result or dividend, the goodwill of the brand, personalities on the board/owners, general market sentiments at any time, value of the company, whether perceived or real, economic realities, etc. An average Nigerian, particularly the millennial and older generations, believes their money is safest with First Bank. |

I have seen someone whose life, and family's life, were completely destroyed by alcoholism. That's why I don't touch the stocks of Breweries. (Not an advice) HesInMe: |

I don't blame you. You don't know my personal relationship to the victim and his family. Not that it will matter to you even if you do know. So let's just forget it. I believe I did say that I wasn't recommending to anyone not to deal in brewery stocks, neither did I recommend banning alcohol. That's all you jumping to conclusions. Streetinvestor2: |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 7:37pm On Apr 18, 2025 |
Raider76:Don't take it personal.I only said when an adult choose to be irresponsible. We should put it to him or her.If he or she did not see alcohol he will still take other substance that will still result to calamity. You can ask agba to verify on his other activities/consequences....lol |
