Did Yorubas Actually Vote Jonathan In 2011? by mrvitalis(op): 8:51am On Apr 18, 2025
To propagandas that have been pushed for a while is that Yorubas massively voted Jonathan in 2011...but it's this true?

Below is the results of the 2011 Presidential elections.. One can easily observe that outside Lagos ( none indigenous people) and Ondo ( miniko being pro Jonathan) ... Jonathan struggled to win South West States... He even lost 1 out of the rest four

Yet yorubas have pushed the narrative they massively voted Jonathan and he betrayed them

Compare this to the 1993 election results that Yorubas have claimed igbos never voted Abiola... You can see that the results and percentages are very close less than 5% difference that's given the fact that Tofa had an igbo vice a popular igbo vice at that

So from the above I would like to argue that
1) if igbos didn't vote Abiola in 1993 then Yorubas never voted Jonathan
2) if Yorubas voted Jonathan then igbos voted Abiola

3) that Yorubas have never voted any southern candidate outside their own people

What do you think

This my guy that said money borrowed should not be spent on infrastructure 🤣

He said infrastructure is waste of money. That is the kind of idea they want a leader to portray

From what I could see here Anambra voted for Abiola.
Only mischievous people will say otherwise

You have been borrowing and spending it on infrastructure since 2015 .. GDP went from 575 billion dollars to 198 billion dollars

If Tinubu gets 8 years we would be sub 100 billion dollars GDP... Continue ooh

Borrow to build infrastructure then devalue currency to pay back because those infrastructure brought in zero revenue

It was simply because a dullard was in charge of our affairs from 2015 to 2023

2023 to 2025 GDP fell from 377 billion to 198 billion... Was the dullard still in charge

Infrastructure to drive economic progress failed in Akwa ibom, failed in ebonyi failed I'm Kano, failed in Kaduna under El rufai

Failed in rivers state under wike and Ameachi

Failed in Enugu under Sullivan
Failed in osun under aregbe

All of them were dullards?

There's always a slight fall during change of power. And besides we have to pay for all what the dullard administration caused.

In 2025, Nigeria's GDP is projected to be around $585.9 billion, representing a growth of 3.2% from 2024. World Economics estimates Nigeria's GDP in 2025 at $2.593 trillion in PPP terms. Additionally, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) predicts a GDP growth of 4.17% for 2025, driven by ongoing reforms and stabilizing inflation.

I'm from Lagos State. Infrastructure to drive economy did not fail in Lagos
After the new express built by ambode across Epe-ijebu-ode axis.
Business has improved tremendously around those axis

Lmaooo PPP? Lmaooo

First you call a 40% drop in GDP slight fall?

If an American president does that he would be impeached that day

Lmaooo Abuja have more and better infrastructure than Lagos so why is it not the economic hotspot?

Lagos grew because of government policy

Lagos has one of the worse infrastructure in Nigeria, bad roads, poor road network yet people troop there

How come GEJ loss in 2015 without the South West votes?

Only South West votes figure was fair, other regions votes was just inflated. Since the 2015 election, such bogus figures have not been able to replicated again most especially in South South

Abuja has more infrastructure than Lagos! shocked

You must be a joker.
Lagos has the most infrastructure in Nigeria, and arguable the most interconnected road.
What you mean by bad road?

The only problem Lagos have are people trooping in.

Jonathan lost 2015 because he got less northern votes... Especially middle belt not because of less South West votes

The middle belt , Kogi and Kwara played vital role which was influenced by South West

South West also did not vote for GEJ in majority which also affected the outcome of the results

Even if you called the 2011 votes meagre it made difference

Middle belt has over 10 states the influence of those two is negligible
Losing Benue, plateau, nassarawa, taraba, and Adamawa , Abuja, and Kaduna was what killed Jonathan

Not South West

You are seeing the numbers before you yet you keep lying to yourself na wah on

Tinubu rigged the election and got zero votes in Agulu polling unit. How many votes did he receive in South East?
