For the Nigeria market, unstable oil price is likely to put a cap on the upward movement of the market. But for now let us see how far the earning season can advance those stocks with good performance.

Today we want to view another stock that the earnings may not be fantastic: OANDO. But some oil stocks will still do well in their match result, like ETERNA. Our Caucus message have more details on this.

From our side the UBA report is below expectation. Generally core banking stocks are currently losing some grounds to FinTech. For urgent cash need the fintechs seems to be better especially for the market women and people who transact businesses with moderate amounts. How may times have you experience bad network from a POS operator such that you left without doing your transaction, likely nill (the POS will have about 2 of 3 service providers for which one must work), for some bank branches ATM not able to dispense cash/no network is fairly common, especially in areas where there are low income earners, I don't know if the bank branches are doing it deliberately e.g in Oshodi. So, if the banks are not experiencing outstanding performance we should not be surprised, and some part of this is self inflicted by the banks (some people may not need to visit bank for a long time, especially if you are in an environment where cash changes hands rapidly).

The banks are doing fine
The men running businesses and giving banks money are not doing it on pos.And banks have thr own pos this days deployed.The pos money is just an addition to bank and not main source of income to banks....saying my opinion
