MARKET UPDATE 28 April- NIGERIA MARKET UPDATE WITH SOME GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE
Oil is stabilising so we believe the market should still be in uptrend. On the earnings some are really good and we should see one of the expected good ones in the finance sector and MTNN expected turn around result should be out any moment from now.

Our forecast list has be updated with the likes of WEMA bank among others (this is where we knew TRANSCORP, any likely OANDO will have poor result for March) and is for our Caucus members

For last week, the Consumer index was top and Insurance coming second.

Let us have a nice week.
Consumers good index on fire

I make money in my type of stocks than your big man stocks. So far it's same money both of us will make at last but I must have a higher returns in % than you.Do you agree?

For insurance, you are right.I am waiting for a pullback and that's why I don't want to disclose the particular insurance stock on my radar now.

I am set to collect huge returns from this market this time around than before. All things being equal. We watch....

Loco, what is your target entry price for ABC?

Locotrader:
NB will reach #60 this year.others in same sector will rise up to 100%+ in a short term.

Bank stocks like Gtb,zenith,UBA will reach 75,60,50 this same year.

Market will still prove you and all of you thinking of selling instead of buying wrong again.

Loco is fully in with fresh funds starting from Chams,ABC,Champion, cileasing and one other insurance stock yet to come to my junction.

This time around, the wind of change will touch these highleletd stocks because they have repositioned for growth and those who hear my call on them will rejoice with me.

I don't know how many wonders there are now, but you dare not exclude Google when counting.

So I querried Google for the English meaning of this Yoruba you wrote in response to my joke, and the result came out positive and powerful.

Please anybody, what is the meaning of 'audio' in nsempa slang?
Means the same thing everywhere, generally grin

It's as opposed to video...something you can see. "The money wey we no see na audio" as one of the Psquares sang.

A company could report audio EPS which is not backed by actual numbers, and their body language isn't anything like that of a company with such numbers.

I can say I have 4 million units of Seplat when in fact I have a sum total of zero shares of Seplat... Audio. You get it? grin

Their return to profitability has more to do with injection of money into the operation than anything else.
The new money helped them to pay down a huge sum of foreign denominated loan which has been a drag on the company financial for a while.
When osita mentioned it here, I had to go back and checked it and I just knew their next quarterly results will be good.

No, I don't think so. The price hike has more than compensated for the reduction in consumption, and they are now selling with a higher profit margin.

Previously, selling 1,000 bottles of Hero at ₦300 per bottle would have generated ₦300,000. Now, even with a 50% reduction in consumption, selling at the current ₦1,000 per bottle would generate ₦500,000.

Plus, the profit per bottle has likely increased. For instance, retailers were previously satisfied making ₦300 to ₦500 profit per crate; today, they are probably making over ₦1,000 per crate to maintain the same profit levels, largely due to the massive devaluation of the naira.

It’s just common sense, if you ask me.

I million challenge target met.The award goes to IB.
Bought at #4.cost made it #4.08,BE is #4.14.
Will leave it to see if it can add another 50%.
Then reinvest into a stock that can give 50% for the remaining year cycle.
Then next yr we look for another 100% for step 2.
