brainhack201:Even though I'm not a professional, let me just drop my view/opinion based on the screenshot. I think you need to prove that your mum has something VERY important that will serve as home ties rather than using her two daughters. Something important like business or anything that will be so dear to her that she can't leave for a long time. (Meaning she won't exceed her stay in the UK and return back because she has important business to handle) Secondly, I think the account you're using as POF should be having both debit and credit. The screenshot show the amount was somehow inflated or something. Let it reflect the actual balance and the money shouldn't be idle. Thirdly, try what I suggested first and let that be added to income mummsy makes alongside the 800k that was stated in the screenshot. You see when it was converted to Pound, it wasn't up to £400 annually (despite the fact that she's not depending on the money). If she has a business, you can use profit from the business to inflate her income in her next application. Like I said earlier, it's not a professional advise but just an opinion. |

brainhack201:Bro, Sorry for all these, I think the major issue here to put some.funds in mummy's account, at least 10m to be on a safer side. Put 10m in her account for 30days, submit both your own proof of funds and hers too. Wish you success bro |

Big man, there is no magic that anyone can perform on your behalf in the name of professional services. Instead, you should consider using that money to add to your mom's account. All the suggestions provided here to you are genuine. Based on that letter, the refusal was due to three main issues. Address these issues and pray for better outcomes. 1. You stated that your mom has 800k, yet she is also retired. It's unclear how she has that amount in her account. You should consider explaining her income source, as this could be interpreted as a home tie, suggesting she has commitments back home after her visit. 2. The second issue is the home tie. Having just two daughters is not sufficient to demonstrate a strong connection to Nigeria; her ties to the UK appear to be stronger. 3. The third issue relates to your income. While you intend to sponsor her visit, it seems there is a lump sum that was not clearly specified outside your credit and debit cards, which you have not explained to their satisfaction. I may be wrong in my observation but I hope you can work on these issues and reapply again |

You mean Robert Gordon?. Well, I am a graduate of RGU, I can confirm to you that Aberdeen is a very dry city, infact you would have to move outside the city to get a job except you are very lucky. I have never been to UCS or the city. I hope this helps. Abdoor44: |

Send the school a direct mail and attach the invoice to confirm its authenticity, then make sure what ever payment you are making goes directly to the school account from ur trusted account. lolade07: |

lolade07:Every shade of scam. You do not need an agent, to process your admission and the eventual visa....write to the school as earlier suggested. |

Please, when is it advisable to differ an admission after receiving an unconditional offer? Thank you. |

lolade07:I think it might be a plot to scam you. You applied 29/4 And invoice of 15/4 was sent to you despite not yet having an official offer from the school. Well, Please contact the school directly via your email. As far as am concerned, they can't contact your agent, it you directly via email. In fact they don't even have a portal access for MRes applicant sef. So please contact them asap. |

Good day distinguished nairalanders, My apologies for asking these questions at this stage, as I know nairalanders don't usually like to be taken back. But I need them badly at this stage. Please I need advice on how people/travelers get these proof of funds running into millions. We want to explore UK application through study route for my wife who is a nurse but hasn't been successful scaling IELTS after several attempts for NMC registration. We are both lecturers in Nigerian higher institutions and have 3 kids. We are already frustrated with all our failed attempts going for over 8 years! Although she has a Masters from SA and presently at viva stage of her PhD in Nigeria. However, I don't mind her taking up another Masters (MPH preferably) in the UK just to make our plans work. Can I be be given a brief rundown of how the processes and the tricks involved go? Also, I don't mind talking to anyone here directly if that would be convenient. I think the POF is the major issue for us now if we are able to secure admission, which I'm sure of. We both have promising line of professions that I believe can be leveraged on when we get to the UK. I also hold a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering. Please I've read almost about 50 pages of this forum without getting info about it, because I know I might be referred to that. And if anyone has the specific page, I don't mind being directed to it. We are at a crossroad now! Thanks All. |

You can also use Ecctis to bypass IELTS. Check the info below; https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/knowledge-of-english https://qls.ecctis.com/ meagainstdem: |

meagainstdem:I sense your wife's confidence level is low regarding not being able to pass IELTS over the years. I suggest you look into applying for Global Talent Visa or SKilled Worker Visa rather than your wife coming in as a student as either of these 2 visa types will cover the entire family. |

Good afternoon everyone, I created a UKVI account today in other to link it to my evisa, I got a mail that I can view my evisa minutes after linking but when I open the link in the mail and login to my profile. This is what I see. Screenshot attached I can access my share code though without any issues, it's just the evisa I can't access. Should I be worried?

Mindlog:Thank you Mindlog, You actually got the point. Her confidence level is completely low. As brilliant as she is, she did IELTS a couple of times and did OET in March. The OET was close. Only 30 points remaining in one band. In fact, she scaled her CBT once last year, which will expire next year March. But as it is, I doubt if she can face any exam that relates to traveling again, because of anxiety. She is beginning to see herself wasting a lot of money on exams. She still performs brilliantly in other regular school exams. I will read about the Global Talent Visa and Skilled Worker visa tonight and revert back if in doubt. However, I'm still open to responses about the study route though. Thanks |

meagainstdem:like some one said. Your wife as bsc holder, she only needs to convert her Nigeria degree to UK equivalent. You can still get POF too |
