‘’I am not in school, no business, no relationship’ - Nigerian lady cries her eyes out over being an underachiever as she celebrates her 23rd birthday (video)

A video of a young Nigerian lady weeping over not achieving ‘anything’ at 23, has made the rounds on social media.

In the video, the young lady lamented that she recently turned 23 and her mother came into her
room to pray for her. She said that after her mum finished prayers and left, she was all alone and started to think about her life. She said she is 23 and wonders what her purpose in life is as she is not in school not doing any business, and not even in a relationship.


‘’Today is actually my birthday. My mom came
into my room to pray for me. When she was
done, she stepped out and then I realized that
so much is going in my life, I realized I don't
have much time left. I am 23 years old right
now. If you add two more years to my age, I
will be 25.


I have not figured out my life. I have no
business, I am not working, not in school. no
relationship…I am just there, just living each
day as it comes. I know this is not the plans
God has for me. It cannot be because he
cannot create me and keep me there just to
occupy space. No! Even if that is the plan he
has for me, I know that I want more, I can
change it. The feeling is so overwhelming. I
feel like there is no time. I have not fulfilled
anything. I am just there.

When I see people say things like this I just laugh. At 23 you barely have a life , you've not even started life lol , na you go plan ur life at the end of the day nobody go do that for you.

But seriously at 23 , you should be investing in yourself , education isn't just about degrees or certifications , self investment should be priority , read good books , live healthy , invest in talents ,strive to learn in demand skills and improve your networking with others then use it as leverage to get monetary value, I know people that didn't finish secondary school and they are sitting on billions today, well nourished and fulfilled , school isn't everything your mindset is. My 2 cents.

Well at 23,I was already close to finals,at the end,I said Bleep ebele,and today tinubu is fuking the whole city up. My eyes just cleared this morning, my acct balance is now 103k,from 245k I managed to hustle last week. I am not happy.

You don't need relationship now. You need to get busy....Think of a problem you can solve, go n learn handwork in that area...from there every others factors will fall into place

Safe to say, unfortunately, in my opinion, the best thing is never to be given birth to, especially not in Nigeria or Africa (except maybe in South Africa sha). The second best thi in is to die the moment one is birthed.

But to live, after those times, is to strive, for there is hope somewhere, someday. To live to achieve, to find happiness. Perhaps, it'll be ours someday. Unfortunately though, happiness is fleeting still.

Well, if you've been alive, just try to find a way to start living and not just existing, till death ultimately comes. The small things can be good too. Find happiness in them. Don't wait till you have everything to be happy.

Go apply for factory jobs, since you did not have much education. With time, perseverance, you can work your way up (to certain standard) from there. You will meet new people too
