She has been trending on X for a couple of days now for this statement of hers.

She was very wrong to utter such a statement in the first place. Things like this can spread quickly and corrupt minds that are easily influenced.

It was probably said out of anger, but we should learn to avoid any form of conflict or brawl—whether online or offline—when anger sets in.

This thing called anger can make you say things that both you and the person you're addressing may later regret.

I never engaged in tribal slurs or knew how to handle trolls until I joined Nairaland. After witnessing the ripple effects, I decided to stay away from the platform for at least six months.

Now that I’m back, I only respond to trolls with facts. I believe it’s a shame if we don’t mature intellectually.

Above all, I’m glad she apologized. I’ll take it that her statement was made out of anger. Truly, we all need to be guided.
