I am in my mid 30s, I have a job I am managing, I am married with a 2yr old child.

My worry is that, I am swimming in debt, from loan apps. I don't gamble, I don't womanize, if I borrow 1naira, its to care for my family (health, food, maintenance etc).

It has gotten to a point where whenever I get paid at the end of the month, its loan apps that take all, I will even need to borrow from another to pay others. Its becoming a demonic routine and I am truly scared.

I got paid yesterday and right there in that instant, I paid loan apps, with repayments still pending. I was even chatting with my pension funds manager if its possible for me to withdraw my funds and use it to pay off all my loans, so I can begin on a clean slate. I am fed up, I don't sleep, I cry...and I need to keep coming through for my family EVERYDAY

I am tired, I am depressed. I am trying hard to ensure I pay off all these loans, I post my hustles on social media every day, I talk to potential clients everyday....I am fed up, I am praying God comes to my aid

Loan is one thing I love to collect for business purposes and as I speak,I collect loans often and I don't use it for consumptions except for the main reason make more.
Therefore,go ahead and collect 25% of ur pension and clear up ur liabilities as fast as possible.

It is no surprise to me because I saw it coming while I was in the banking sector. I see young people collecting loans for buying up all sorts of liabilities and others.

Not true.

Only one source of income wouldnt cut it anymore, look for other things to do to make money.

Even if it means dancing at a busy junction on a saturday morning.

Well ....you just need to stop taking loan.

I tell people loan is a sweet evil cos it give temporary comfort and make one miserable at the long run.


Trust me alot of us family men are facing this and we just have to keep pushing on till we get there.

Discuss with your wife on how to manage funds better and let her know you are in debts. Stop trying to be a superman.

If only u know that man riding bike or tricycle or mini bus is making over 10k per day after fuel n ticket sorting then u will leave slavery job called salary job

To get married, you must have upto 3 source of income or jobs. You cant use a single job to take care a wife and kid.
Moreover, your wife too should have a reasonable job doing

. What work does your wife do, and how much of the household finances does she bring in? Also, do you equally help your wife with chores and raising kids at this point? Or are you in a strictly traditional marriage where the man is the provider while the woman submits? Are you and your wife already using family planning to avoid the mistake of another child in your situation?

Oga stop spreading false information.

You can only withdraw 25% of your RSA if out of job for 4 months.

You can withdraw 50% of Voluntary contributions (this is different from your RSA ER EE main balance) every two years
