I’ve only sold Aradel at 850
It’s part of retirement plan. No intention to sell a single unit
Nothing in this world, living or dead would make me sell my Aradel for less than 1k.

May God forbid emergency situation. My target is to acquire 20k units .

What is the effect of crashing crude oil on Nigerian Stock Market, given the role of oil in the economy?

Bull, Bear or Neutral?

There are professors of economics and top notch market analysts here.
Time to speak up.
Portfolios and networths could be in danger.

National budget is typicallyly benchmarked on $75/barrel oil price.
Oil is right now at around $60 and, I'm sure, headed down.

Govt is the biggest spender in the economy, and right now is already in deficit budget.

So what next?

Is it foreign investors that will come and mop cheap stocks when liquidity dries up in the market?
Or will Govt resort to borrowing to fund the budget and keep the economy bouyant until our precious oil recovers?
Ugodre, lends his analysis.

Nigeria Police Microfinance Bank is undervalued at 1.89k.

If you are interested in anything Microfinance just get a slice of NPF BANK.

The true is we are in bull run and most stock from 0.20 kobo to ₦5 are still at their All Time Low (ATL) range or the bottom prices, looking forward to an upward movement.
some investors having sold off some of their dividend paying stocks will be looking forward to invest in those penny stocks.

Dividends not received, please advise: Zenith and Fidelity Bank

I did not receive my Zenith Bank dividend. I mailed the registrar Veritas two (2) day ago but no response till now.

I also received only a part of my FIDELITYBK dividend. I mailed their registrar, First Registrars and I didn't receive any response also.

Please what should I do to resolve this?

Checked their financials...they made 17k eps in Q1/25 which will give around forecasted FY25 eps of 68k.
The highest P/E in the banking industry is fidelity bank which is 4.
Using that, NPF should be around #2.4 max unless she continues growing her earnings.

Let's see how it goes.

I checked it's historical P/E and the max she did was in 2023 - 11.4
If she tries to make that again, we may see it at #6.
So there is a price band of #3 to #6

You really get mind to use bamboo app to trade Nigerian stocks.
I am still new to stocks, and Bamboo felt safe at my level. Can I transfer my stocks portfolio in Bamboo to a licensed stockbroker?

Bamboo that will be showing you stock price with multiples that are not correct. For example you will be seeing something like 46.52 for zenith when in actual fact it should be in multiples of 0.05 which should either be 46.50, 46.55 or 46.60 etc.

Here below was one of my experiences with Bamboo which I posted here weeks ago.

vacanci:
biggest mistake i made was not reviewing NGX trading on BAMBOO app before trying it.

set a limit buy order yesterday for a stock. the stock closed lower than my limit price, yet my order was not filled.

i then tried to cancel the order at least let me take my money out and jejely go and use my other brokers. Unfortunately there was no where to cancel the order. my money is just there trapped

After contacting their customer service, i was told to wait for 3 working days so they can investigate thoroughly and give me feedback.

i was as shock as ever. It appeared i was operating in the 1990s.

i don't know if i am alone on this. Although i later started reading review of similar issues.

i think they are trapping clients fund and buying time with it so they can use the monies to make profit for their business.

Please if there is anyone who had similar challenge here and how it was resolved, i will like to be informed.

Thank you

My Meristem has been having the same issue too

That's why to check the actual price I have to click into the asset to see the actually buy and sell orders queue
That gives a glimpse
Not the prices we see at face value

Nigerian financial market isn't doing badly at all
But we need some improvements
