Streetinvestor2:Presco is trading at a Price to Book value of 4.9. Ellah Lakes is trading at a Price to Book value of 0.44. Depending on the stage at which you think the company is, you will see different things. If you see it as a palm oil start-up, you’ll note that its palm plantation assets grew by 82.1% in the past year alone — from ₦320.57 million in January 2024 to ₦583.85 million in January 2025. That kind of growth suggests it’s still in the development and asset-building phase, possibly undervalued if you believe in its long-term execution. If you think it’s a mature business, the current numbers might raise red flags — particularly when compared to a more established peer like Presco. If you believe the audited report is unreliable, then none of the numbers really matter — and your entire thesis will hinge on whether management is credible and transparent. At the end of the day, we are all here to make money. The lens through which you view Ellah Lakes will determine whether you see opportunity, risk, or a bit of both. |

DeRuggedProf:So all the rice mill, etc na lie? Make we dey see... May take a while but they'll deliver eventually and we are projecting that it will be hoooooge . They can't put out all those big plans and be doing nothing to achieve them. Worst case scenario, they are going at snail speed.. but there has to be progress ongoing, even if it's at slow pace |

Streetinvestor2:People must go in and see what I saw after holding for 2 years. Assuming I am still holding, this year would have made me 5 years in it and this is the best result in 5 years waiting. Now I see that Ellah is a stock that will mature in 2035 going by this result.I just prayed that this is not 18m revenue for palm trees that are matured already going by date they told us they planted. I believe they are ashamed to release the due result.Traders will like to push the price next week and dump it for another explosive result which can make real shareholders tired and begin to look for exit. If they can release a result of 3B revenue and a profit of let's say 300m,there is hope for shareholders in the next 2 years.Retain earning is a negative of 4B.

A LETTER TO MR CHUKA MORDI AND ELLAH LAKE MGT TEAM Dear Ellah Lake Management Team, It is no longer a secret that your performance has been terrible, disappointing and disastrous for minority investors. The promises and reassurances given to investors seem to be fading away. Forum members of Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts(NSEMPA) are currently exposing the root of your business. It appears you are running an intangible audio business, as there is no single uploaded video of your integrated farm on the internet. You pride yourself as the first agriculture company listed on the NGX, having been listed in 1980 according to your website. However, it seems Ellah Lake lacks direction towards achieving its stated vision of becoming the best and prototype integrated farm in Africa. You have failed, and failure is now associated with your mission. Yes there is no crime in failure, not using it as a stepping stone is a potential recipe for future disaster. We no longer hear about the fishing business or news about the Tellura farm you acquired. Are they still generating income? What is the current state of the rice ,soyabeans and cassava plantation? There is no video evidence of the 5,000 hectares of palm plantation and the piggery. The integrity of your management team is now a subject of discussion on Nairaland, and your financial statement is under public scrutiny. The figures don't add up, and the more I read them, the less clarity I get. https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Listings-site/Offer%20Documents/Ellah%20Lakes%20-%20Information%20%20Memorandum.pdf https://www.nairaland.com/1131485/nigerian-stock-exchange-market-pick/8993 It's noteworthy that CBO Capital, one of your largest shareholders and partners, disinvested 81 million shares in November/December 2024. Time is running out; it's time to prove your critics wrong. https://nairametrics.com/2024/11/13/ellah-lake-declares-zero-revenue-for-two-consecutive-years-as-cbo-capital-sells-down-81-million-shares/ I personally own 2.5 million units of ordinary shares in your stagnanted company. The phrase "all noise, no action" comes to mind. I was once convinced by a feedback report quoted in Business Day, which mentioned a delegation of stockbrokers visiting Ellah Lakes Plc's plantation in Edo State. https://businessday.ng/companies/article/stockbrokers-laud-ellah-lakes-strategic-investment-in-palm-plantation-livestock/ https://www.proshare.co/articles/ellah-lakes-plc-ceo-issues-statement-on-post-rights-issue-ongoing-operations?menu=Market&classification=Read&category=Stock%20%26%20Analyst%20Updates However, it's unimaginable how an Agric ⁶company wouldn't declare any revenue and profit in 4 consecutive years. Poor revenue, poor operating income, poor cash flow, negative retained earning, always in capital deficit. These are pointers to an unsustainable failing business. The antecedent of Ellah Lake is consistent with that of a company that lack transparency, struggling and may be delisted. Mr. Chuka Mordi, time is of the essence, and money cannot buy it. I urge you to come clean and do the needful and execute your remote plan of delisting if this is your agenda for Ellah Lake and consider relisting in the future at a better price when there are tangible and profitable plantations, as it appears investors are only investing in an intangible palm plantation. This shouldn't be a reason to toll the path of one of your kinsmen Mr Dozy Mmobuosi of infamous Tingo Group. https://www.sec.gov/enforcement-litigation/litigation-releases/lr-26086 |

Our review on Ellah lakes will go viral this weekend. I believe their will be press lease next week by the mgt. This is the only way we can help ourselves not praising a company you don't know the plans they have for shareholders and shareholders are holding unto palm trees and fruits as okomu and presco are known for that. Why is okomu and presco not practicing digital Agriculture Audio and real are not same.Let them release corporate announcements on their farms let's review and know our stand on it. One of the cheapest stock tempting investors at the floor now is Ellah lakes but traders are the one to use it and dump while my brother Nosa is having an investment mind. |

Mankind2024: Oga, you get strong mind o and I admire your courage doing this It is about time for shareholders to start calling out these directors with respect to their actions. Someone should have written a similar letter to First Holdings PLC (formerly FBN Holdings PLC) for that crappy dividend they declared for their shareholders. Well done for this initiative and boldness. |

My first red flag with ELLAH was the management and stockbrokers photograph. It screams Oando from a distance ![]() Why is a business concerned with stock price unless they want to raise funds. It's all too fishy. Technically though, there is a long term signal for price appreciation. But there are just too many coys with certainty, at least in the near term, than to be running after deadbones. I leave that one for Elijah |
