nosa2:Somehow, I believe they have a lot of assets in Farmlands, even as far as Ghana. My area of IF is do they have the kind of competent management that will deliver value to shareholders or will mess things up with all kinds of stories. Having potential and delivering value of the potential to shareholders are two different things. For example, First Bank had a lot of potential. I think you chased First Bank at a time. But see how management have delivered poorly relative to the huge potential they had two decades ago. |

DeRuggedProf:I am being conservative like pa Emma in this stock. Akwa ibom Govt want to increase the stake above the 10% they are holding. Some investors are also jostling for some portion of the company by shares. The holder of 86% is now forced to divest some part to cover the free floats deficiency. If na you, will you sell below N10? A company that has started generating a higher revenue as production increases. Prof,we go hear the rest on 21st. Some that already hear this are jumping in . All na goodies story we go hear. Na shareholders go gain wella |

I just noticed that my Zenith Bank holdings have disappeared from my Morgan Capital portfolio. Has anyone experienced that before? It is still showing in my CSCS account though. Maybe that is the reason why I did not receive my dividends either. Although I still checked a few days back, and it was still there. |

Back from a merciless ban! I was about to post a critical review of the deep crisis in DEAP Capital when the ban was imposed. Anyway, I've been busy at work. I'll share my thoughts tonight. By the way, @ Loco, what's your secret for always escaping the merciless ban? |

No need for faith here. They don't have farmland in Ghana. What management has confirmed is 2400 hectares in Edo for oil palm and 5000 hectares each in Ondo and Enugu, dedicated to maize, cassava, and soy beans. And that is total hectares, not planted hectares o. There can be a big difference. They have since said they're focusing exclusively on oil palm now, but you can't just shift land from cassava to oyel like that. They did say there were exploring land in Ghana a while back, but they also promised they'd have 50,000 hectares by 2023 and pay a dividend to investors by 2024. Go figure. BabsO2: |
