Mankind2024:
I asked Mr. KOOK (The Keeper Of Odd Knowledge), aka GROK, to investigate the connections between the following entities: DEAP Capital, DVCF O&G, and TIP.

DEAP Capital Management & Trust Plc, The Initiates Plc (TIP), and DVCF Oil & Gas Plc are connected through corporate ownership and shareholding relationships, primarily within the Nigerian financial and oil and gas sectors. Here’s a breakdown of their relationships based on available information:DEAP Capital Management & Trust Plc and DVCF Oil & Gas Plc:DVCF Oil & Gas Plc is a major subsidiary of DEAP Capital Management & Trust Plc. DEAP Capital, a Nigeria-based financial services company operating in the capital market, mortgage banking, and oil and gas sectors, includes DVCF Oil & Gas Plc among its key subsidiaries, alongside Resort Securities & Trust Limited and Resort Savings & Loans Limited. This indicates that DEAP Capital has a controlling interest or significant ownership in DVCF Oil & Gas Plc, which focuses on project management and venture capital services in the oil and gas sector, serving multinational oil corporations and government-sponsored enterprises.DVCF Oil & Gas Plc and The Initiates Plc (TIP):DVCF Oil & Gas Plc is a substantial shareholder in The Initiates Plc (TIP), a waste management and industrial cleaning company listed on the Growth Board of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX). As of June 30, 2020, DVCF Oil & Gas Plc held 332,174,967 shares, representing 36.91% of TIP’s issued share capital, making it the largest shareholder at that time.DVCF Oil & Gas Plc has been actively involved in trading TIP shares. For example, in December 2023, it sold 9,468,900 units of its TIP shareholding for approximately N10.131 million across three transactions at prices of N1.06, N1.07, and N1.08 per share. Earlier that month, it sold 1.7 million units at N1.15 per share.Additionally, DVCF increased its equity stake in TIP as reported in September 2020, further solidifying its position as a major shareholder.DEAP Capital Management & Trust Plc and The Initiates Plc:There is no direct ownership or subsidiary relationship explicitly stated between DEAP Capital and The Initiates Plc. However, their connection is indirect through DVCF Oil & Gas Plc, which is a subsidiary of DEAP Capital and a major shareholder in TIP. This creates a hierarchical relationship where DEAP Capital indirectly influences TIP through its ownership of DVCF Oil & Gas Plc.Summary:DEAP Capital is the parent company of DVCF Oil & Gas Plc, which is one of its major subsidiaries.DVCF Oil & Gas Plc is a significant shareholder in The Initiates Plc, holding a substantial equity stake (36.91% as of June 2020) and actively trading TIP shares. The relationship between DEAP Capital and The Initiates Plc is indirect, mediated through DVCF Oil & Gas Plc’s shareholding in TIP.This structure reflects a typical corporate hierarchy where a financial services group (DEAP Capital) extends its influence into specialized sectors like oil and gas (via DVCF) and waste management (via DVCF’s stake in TIP).

If you have PATIENT FUNDS. Let me reiterate again...

Pick FTNCOCOA at 2+, DEAP at 0.9+, UNIONDICONSALT 7.3 and NPF BANK at 2.12. They are all penny stocks which should give you a fortune

The most attacked of them will make you some cool cash if only you can HOLD

I have given out seven PICKS since this 2025 and they are doing fine. You are to decide if you are a LONG TERM INVESTOR or a TRADER.The choice is entirely yours. But the path to real and mega wealth is to discover a rough diamond and hold it till it's precious in the sight of all. That's how I make WEALTH in reality.

I still have something meaningful left in all my holdings of years...

Concerning your DEAPCAP post, I don't seems to understand what you're driving at.
What I understood was that DEAPCAP is indirectly present in TIP and have controlling stakes thru DVCF, even though Deapcap's direct holdings in TIP was sold off at circa N1.
Can you pls tell us what you inferred here........good or bad for DEAPCAP?

After reviewing Deap cap Q1 results and other surrounding news,I have decided to add gear 5 on my two feet.

The stock may rise as there is plan to push it up.I don't like trading on flat breast or no breast stocks again.

Deap cap still better to buy than Ellah baby.

*Update:
Intraday, Nascon is selling as low as 52.20 as at now, possibly because of DS not yet moving.....
Although support is observed @37 for Dangsugar so far.....
You may have to keep your bids lower, maybe it will get there......OR, be picking in bits as earlier suggested.

** Note: Nascon was emphasized because that's what you made inquiry on.
Thanks ma.
For helping newbies like myself.

I was able to buy some units at 53.10 that was my limit price.

Also there is a DCS or whatever is called on my account, when i sold my shares, the money was sent to my bank.
I don't know, should i message morgan capital to change it or there is a way i can change it on the itrade portal?

Thanks once again.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mankind2024: 11:17pm On May 14, 2025
DEAP Capital's reported losses seem dubious, given its complex web of unlisted subsidiaries. Allegedly, DEAP Capital is a majority shareholder in DVCF Oil & Gas, Resort Securities Limited, and (Resort Savings and Loans-written off). DVCF Oil & Gas also holds significant stakes in The Initiates Plc. However, this hasn't translated to noticeable value for DEAP Capital's shareholders, likely due to poor management. Notably, DEAP Capital faced SEC investigation in 2013 for mismanaging client funds. A change in the management team could potentially revitalise the company and put it on the radar as a potential success story on the NGX, perhaps even the next UCAP.

Below is answer to your question:
yMcy56:
You're welcome.
This should be a reminder to everyone to check if their Trading Acct/ Portfolio is in DCS (Direct Cash Settlement) mode
* You can know this if it's CSCS that used to pay you each time you make sales in your trading account
* If it's in DCS, contact your broker to forward a DCS Form to you
* Indicate "NO" for Direct Cash Settlement.
* We've discussed this here on different occasions
* This is just a reminder*

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody:
Champion matters

Champion Agm and dividend payment is coming up next week Wednesday being 21st.

Those selling a stock that is seriously on demand, what is your gain when you sell and later see the stock at 10?

If you sell champion today, you don't have it again in your portfolio. You may live to regret everyday just as I am regretting selling Transcorp till today.I know the people who sold at 4.65 last week are still blaming themselves up till now.

The buyers are desperate to buy the minority shares which is below 15% of the total shares at any given price.

Why not enjoy your 10 10% till Wednesday if there is need for you to sell?

Loco and family has a sizeable quantity and remains calm till I see what is pursuing champion

Ondo is the perfect JIJO stock. Regularly they make announcements that people make a mountain out of an anthill of, and boom, you are smiling to the bank. This is usually followed by them delaying or releasing hazy results, and we are back to support level again.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:20am On May 15, 2025
When I was reviewing NPf stock yesterday night,I discovered NPf is the only micro finance bank listed at the exchange just like TIP and ABCTRANS the only stocks operating in their own sectors.

I also discovered that 80% of the stock is being controlled by the Majority shareholders hence the available units for investors to trade is below 1.2B of the 5.99B shares.

I also discovered that this stock has not been touched by the bull as it has been hovering within 1.70 - 2.00 for the past one year. Will bull descend on it now?We watch

To shock you more, this stock has been faithful to shareholders by paying good dividends to shareholders for a very long time.Below will shock you.

If market no do justice @ NPf this time Loco is the driver, let me see what cause it.

Loco will chop 1.5m naira dividend this time around.Npf and champion my first dividend stocks at NSE.

Still on the platform of Megawealth01

Maybe so. History doesn't always repeat itself of course. But I remember last year before the big rally when someone here said we will never see it below #10, and it did drop below that briefly. Nowadays, I try to observe the market and not have a fixed expectations of the future.

He was only enhancing the seamlessness and security of the Exam process through a new tech deployment that unfortunately failed.

JAMB that has overtaken WAEC in terms of brand, integrity due to growth will retrogress, even worse than NECO.
someone needs to pay but definitely not him.

on Suicide, I read that.. Saddening.
I think the solution is to incooperate yearly audit of the entire process before releasing result. Or just few days after releasing the results.
This will reduce/eliminate depression especially to those hurt by the failed technology deployment.
