It's one of their tricks. I've never seen a good-looking person who downplays good looks. Good looks make people relaxed around you and a little more welcoming. If you've got the brains and interpersonal skills to connect, it'd take you into and keep you in many circles.

The only problem in this part of the world is that when a woman is beautiful and not married she becomes a symbol of attention and unanswered questions keeps flying around and she's the problem, but we seemed to keep a blind eye when the mids are single at 40 and conclude men are not coming their way.
The truth is that being pretty doesn't make a woman dumb and I think the pretty girls gets married more often than the mids.
