Hello,

Please i need help, I have not being getting any dividends on my shares.

I bought all of them through Morgan Capital, i have sent a mail to them a couple of times but they dont respond to me?

is it that my shares is too small to be paid dividends or Did i do something wrong?

Thank you
You're not receiving dividends has nothing to do with Morgan, even though, as a stockbroking firm, they could help for a fee, you can get your dividend by completing the e-dividend mandate forms from the various registrars handling the companies you have holdings in.

Get in touch with the registrars and all your unclaimed dividend issues will be resolved.

I sincerely don't care about what is happening to ellahlakes stock right now as my focus is on the business, I did not buy the stock, I bought the business.

I'm not a trader, i never trade before, probably the reason why I take positions based on my convictions.

The President of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has said that in the next two years, the company will be exporting almost 16,000 tonnes of fertiliser, which will amount to about $7m daily revenue to the Federal Government.

This man said he would list both dangote fertilizer and dangote refinery 1st quarter 2025 🤔

How much is the dividend. The md is collecting the whole profit as salary for doing nothing
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by jideflash(m): 1:54pm On May 27, 2025
well the dividend payout ratio isnt so great. while profit growth has been too slow compare to its peers like nem and mansard.
Share buy back programme has been proposed which will be very helpful in reducing the massive O/S.
They recently purchased a minority stake in Infra-credit, which also increased last year expense. if they get think right in coming quarters, aiico should be selling at minimum of 5naira within 18months

Have you considered the possibility of share reconstruction based the os even with share buy back.

Please i need help, I have not being getting any dividends on my shares.
We had a recent discussion about dividends and registrars. See below.

HesInMe:
Since you're just starting out, it might help to watch these two videos to get a good street sense of how dividends work. Better than any long grammar anyone can write here.

https://youtu.be/PqGwTNpDCKw?si=Y--8B1QCLAJd7AZ2
https://youtu.be/8Oo8Z2KNVdg?si=jkD-o-PQXPMslulB

More technically:

You are entitled to a dividend payment if 1) a company declares a dividend in a given period during the financial year (it can be "interim" or "final" as the videos explain), and 2) you are listed as a shareholder on the records of that company---records maintained by the company's registrar, on the dividend qualification date. So long as you're on the register by the qualification date, it doesn't matter how long you've held the shares.

Below is an example of Access Bank. Note the financial period (year ended Dec 31); the dividend (final and interim); the qualification and payment dates, which are separate; and information about their registrar and how to e-register (see more below).

https://doclib.ngxgroup.com/Financial_NewsDocs/43801_ACCESS_HOLDINGS_PLC-CORPORATE_ACTION_ANNOUNCEMENT_-_ACCESS_HOLDINGS_PLC_CORPORATE_ACTIONS_APRIL_2025.pdf

So if you're not getting your dividends, technically you must find out who the registrar for the company is and contact them. And you have to do this for each company you own shares in! Thankfully, the Securities & Exchange Commission has centralized this process, so:

- You can search for your unclaimed dividends here, but be warned it's not completely accurate:

https://sec.gov.ng/non-mandated/

- You can just register your "e-dividend mandate" (EDMMS) online using the link below and it'll go to each registrar directly. Make sure to choose a reliable bank account where you want to receive your dividends.

https://docuhub3.nibss-plc.com.ng/edmms/self-service

If after completing the mandate and you still don't hear back, you should email the registrar directly using the email on their website. Then be prepared to wage WW3.

Hope this helps!

GeeKudi:
- You bought Champion after the Qualification Date (QD) of 11th May. So, you didn't qualoify for their dividend
- QD for Betaglass is June 17. If you hold till then, you'd qualify for their dividend.
- If truely you have been holding NAHCO since the date you quoted, you should have recived their dividend. I got mine. Are you sure it wasn't deposited into your account without alert. You should check and contact their registrar if indeed you didn't get it.
- Presco's QD is in July. So, you need to hold it further if you want to get their dividend.
- I'm not sure if Chams has declared dividend in recent time.

Hope these help.
[Modified] You should also fill the dividend e-mandate form online. The registrars will automatically pick your details from there for payment of dividends anytime you have them.
Thank you very much.

Would do the needful

I do a bit of napkin math on where I think Custodian Investment should be trading at, as well as discuss the Mikeade camp spending N3 bilion to acquire more shares.

Make them announce start so that it can close at N7 before June ending. It’s time for it leave N3 range for good.
