A man had the guts to live his wife and kids, an adult we talking about. What’s makes you think he can’t repeat same at the slightest provocation? He already used to that life and about it.

In this instance, for the sake of the kids, forgiveness is welcomed, but it should be from a distance.

Just I am talking from experience based on people I personally know., who are Nigerian adults raised here in the UK by their Nigerian mothers and have no relationship with heir aged fathers back in Nigeria.

Let's ask a question; is his coming back to his family genuine or fake. Unless the wife is able to establish this the man can not be taken to be repentant .He may just want to use the woman as a way of escape from Nigeria. His offer is transactional and not authentic. If the woman collects it ,no problem because it is a payment for his responsibility which he refused to do before. In any case the woman can collect the money and may not help him as well. He inflicted a wound that is very difficult to heal on the family.
