Hazards are likely to occur in the kitchen and so it's essential that if you are cooking, you should always protect yourself in the kitchen.
Most women pride themselves that they were able to use their bare hands to carry very hot 🔥 stew and soup from the fire down as this can be very catastrophic.
Even the usage of knife with bare hands is very dangerous as just one cut to the wrong vein may lead to an unwarranted situation.
In all take steps to protect yourself when you are in the kitchen as the saying goes ,safety first.

I have never used a single one and I've had no injuries in the kitchen. You become a pro over time. I haven't cut myself chopping vegetables since I was a child. If you need it, then use it, but if not; don't!

80 percent of people making use of the knife in the kitchen have cut themselves one time or the other and I dont think it is about being a professional in it as accidents do occur.

My mother is a Nigerian girl woman and she never use all those things, yet she doing pretty good over and over again. Tho I have and used most items listed above, especially the oven equipments and associates.

I guess it's because growing up, the use of those equipments were not common to everyone then. Even now self, cus those equipments ( especially the machine powered ones) are still not that common due to price tag.

These gadgets are really necessary. Prevention is better than cure. Domestic accident can happen at any given time.
