Tye Golden Question is, will the person he eventually marries be an honest woman? How many honest humans are left in this country? How many? That said, I don't blame him for his decision. However, it may all be pointless, considering how much must have been invested and the fact that it's possible she didn't mean to lie. She is at the market. He called to ask where she is. Did he stop to consider that she might have "lied" and said she is at home because she didn't want to discourage him from coming over.
