This is the issue with illiquid stocks. Be strategic and gradual about it.

Sunrisepebble:
Na how to exit 1m+ shares remain grin
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 2:56pm On Jun 10, 2025
I’m in no rush to exit yet, I think with the way the market is reacting to the stock it can now reach N100 by year end. It traded 700k units today, I can be exiting in 200k tranches.

That's the way to go. Don't wait to offload all your holding at the targetted top SP. I also believe that the stock still has more fire in its belly.

From my FA, Vitafoam is good for #60. I hope you're sure about that #100. grin
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 4:00pm On Jun 10, 2025
My FA at year end was #60 but they’ve been performing better than my forecasts and with what I’m hearing for Q3 I think FA is saying ~#75. A good dividend or bonus issue can cause market to react and push it to 100 by year end.

For me personally the undervalued stocks I’ve been keying into with 40%+ upside are:
CWG
Ikeja Hotels
Fidson
Wema @rights issue price
*Cadbury but still analyzing whether they can replicate Q1, the cash flow statement is worrying
NFA/DYOR
good eye oga sunrise. +1 on Fidson, Ikeja hotels position. A week in lagos recently for a different issue actually got me thinking about hospitality/ real estate side of things. Definitely a diamond in the rough for long term buy and forget (speaking for self). eyes out when oga at the top release bonus.

Thanks for the heads up on CWG ( looks like it does the work of two companies in one : resourcery and etranzact ). na to check am out fully to see how e dey go grin grin grin

Please, just to ask, are you aware that if you succeed in hyping IB to 30, you've created a criminal price bubble of N5 trillion mkt cap, when 30 is multiplied by IB's scary 168 billion OS?

Do you really blv IB is worth 5 trillion, or was it only teasing you were teasing your hon partner in gbos gbas, Street? grin

Your sense of history is skewed. I never swore at you. It's clear you lack basic etiquette. The market has been extremely rewarding for me. I'm now in the consolidation phase of building a legacy portfolio for my offspring and future generations.

I recall our previous discussion where I advised investors to remain invested during the twilight of the Buhari administration. You responded that people like us would be the first to surrender our portfolios at the sight of a bear market. I'd like to clarify that I'm a successful self-investor with experience in three exchanges: NGX, NYSE, and Binance.

My investments have yielded impressive returns. On NGX, I'm on track to reach my goal of a N1 billion portfolio in under two years. My NYSE portfolio is compounding nicely, and my digital assets on Binance have doubled in value. You can call me a stock billionaire if you like – that's what 11 years of staying invested through good and bad times have earned me.

My investment philosophy is centered around long-term growth, not short-term gains. I don't trade frequently or book profits often. Instead, I set personal goals and work towards achieving them. I hope you'll learn from my approach. Humility is key in investing, and I often advise against getting caught up in short-term competition or predictions.
Due to personal reasons, I won't share my NGX portfolio here. However, you're welcome to learn from my NYSE portfolio, which continues to compound nicely.

Crazy to watch a permanent bullish person go from that to being conservative, this is good

I was cautioning Puristforest about his promise to Chiksido of guaranteed returns of 50% to 100% within 6 months. As someone who's been investing for a while, I know that patience is key.
I recall my post in early 2023 when Transcorp was trading below N4. I advised patient investors to consider Tony Elumelu's investment ecosystem, likening him to a "tortoise investor." The results have been remarkable. My portfolio has grown significantly, with over N155 million in paper profit in under three years. This doesn't even include the outstanding and pending bonus of 750,000 units of Afriprud.
I've been blessed with triple-digit returns on my investments, not because I'm a brilliant investor, but because I follow the old principle of being patient and letting time work in my favor. I believe that investing is a long-term game, and it's essential to avoid getting caught up in get-rich-quick schemes. Instead, I've focused on steady growth and letting my investments compound over time.

A simple letter can have a significant impact. You may recall that shortly after Ellah Lake was discussed on this forum, Mr. Mordi granted an interview, indicating that they are aware of our concerns. It's worth noting that we've previously discussed the need for urgent capital injection to keep Ellah Lake's farm afloat as a going concern.

Lol this was why as soon as I got to 80% on IB I sold all and switched to NB.

The OS is waaay too much.

NB can easily do 100, IB can never get to 30 with such OS.

After I saw him preaching 30 price target, I don dey get doubt on my CHAMS investment.

Did CHAMS cuz of his hype
