Lol this was why as soon as I got to 80% on IB I sold all and switched to NB.

The OS is waaay too much.

NB can easily do 100, IB can never get to 30 with such OS.

After I saw him preaching 30 price target, I don dey get doubt on my CHAMS investment.

Did CHAMS cuz of his hype
Oga go learn how to climb the rope

Your sense of history is skewed. I never swore at you. It's clear you lack basic etiquette. The market has been extremely rewarding for me. I'm now in the consolidation phase of building a legacy portfolio for my offspring and future generations.

I recall our previous discussion where I advised investors to remain invested during the twilight of the Buhari administration. You responded that people like us would be the first to surrender our portfolios at the sight of a bear market. I'd like to clarify that I'm a successful self-investor with experience in three exchanges: NGX, NYSE, and Binance.

My investments have yielded impressive returns. On NGX, I'm on track to reach my goal of a N1 billion portfolio in under two years. My NYSE portfolio is compounding nicely, and my digital assets on Binance have doubled in value. You can call me a stock billionaire if you like – that's what 11 years of staying invested through good and bad times have earned me.

My investment philosophy is centered around long-term growth, not short-term gains. I don't trade frequently or book profits often. Instead, I set personal goals and work towards achieving them. I hope you'll learn from my approach. Humility is key in investing, and I often advise against getting caught up in short-term competition or predictions.
Due to personal reasons, I won't share my NGX portfolio here. However, you're welcome to learn from my NYSE portfolio, which continues to compound nicely.
grin grin grin grin I should learn from your NYSE portfolio? No thanks, I am good! I would like to learn from your NGX portfolio though since this is NSEMPA.

Anyone who has been here and remembers your old account can tell how you have pulled a 360. You can try to deny it, but it is glaring for all to see.

Keep up the compounding

I'm not seeking validation from you, given your lack of basic life etiquette. I've never asked for your opinion on my posts, and your responses suggest you're stuck in a rut. My previous post aimed to share my success story, where the market has been extremely rewarding, in the hopes that it might help you. Specifically, I wanted to illustrate how compounding can transform a portfolio from negative to positive, not to reveal my investment strategy or invite you to NYSE. The key takeaway is the power of, humility, patience and time in investing, as evidenced by the deleted screenshots.

I was cautioning Puristforest about his promise to Chiksido of guaranteed returns of 50% to 100% within 6 months. As someone who's been investing for a while, I know that patience is key.
I recall my post in early 2023 when Transcorp was trading below N4. I advised patient investors to consider Tony Elumelu's investment ecosystem, likening him to a "tortoise investor." The results have been remarkable. My portfolio has grown significantly, with over N155 million in paper profit in under three years. This doesn't even include the outstanding and pending bonus of 750,000 units of Afriprud.
I've been blessed with triple-digit returns on my investments, not because I'm a brilliant investor, but because I follow the old principle of being patient and letting time work in my favor. I believe that investing is a long-term game, and it's essential to avoid getting caught up in get-rich-quick schemes. Instead, I've focused on steady growth and letting my investments compound over time.
Wao, that portfolio nearing one billion mark, is sure to produce at least a million on dividend alone. This is just great, I am quite impressed. A race of a million mile start with a step. This is just the reason I keep investing. Consistency remains the only key to achieving ones goal. I love to read about others made it. It spurs me to do more. grin

People were accusing Buhari of "morgaging our future" by taking oil backed loans. Now look what is happening.

This has never been a good idea. Even the distinguished Mr. Akinwumi Adesina frowns at such propositions from Africa. These men just need quick money.

But why are people so heartless?
What they won't do with their own personal business, they will be doing it with public investments.
Who borrows money with the aim of paying back with an estimated revenue growth if not a fuuul.
You write out a budget for the year with a $21b deficit with the aim of borrowing to cover it. A borrowed fund at the benchmark of $75 per barrel. Why not use $50 to be on the safe side. And these guys have technocrats among them and guys who studied in abroad oo.
Expensive business schools and universities.
Currently, 300,000 barrels per day out of the 1.5m per day we are pumping is already used to take loans and servicing it and you will be surprised even the 1.2m barrels remaining is been using to service other sources of loans that are not crude oil backed.
You have a $21b deficit you want to borrow money for, what about next year's budget? 2027 budget? and others? you keep borrowing?
What happens to living within your income or that only apply to the poor and low class employees?
Reduce cost of governance, trim down senators, house of assembly people and so on. Reduce budget of many sectors etc or we only talk about poor men living within their means?
My advice is for people to just diversify a fraction of their investment to dollars investment because by the time these people's actions will start biting hard into the economy, they will gladly be devaluing the naira just to pay salaries and you won't want to get caught up in that mess.

Exactly..Borrowing is not the problem, but using this crude backed loans is killing our grand_future..
It's kind of bitter-sweet that its stalling, cuz this loan will take much more years to payback in addition to the Afriexim payback facility wey we still dey the matter so.. undecided

Inaddition,
Let's not forget that even the budget was inflated Padded by the Joint assembly if I'm not mistaken
(i think to include salary increment et al ).
But some capital projects should have been reduced in equivalent. undecided

I believe the closest key to tackling this with foreign exchange return that is substantial enough to cushion our crude oil gap is diversifying our export through the mining sector along with its Value-added products. But first, security needs to be taken care of. Which puts us in cycles.

I wasn't expecting another crude-backed loan after the effect we are experiencing. angry

This means NNPCL is not even thinking of listing on Ngx in the near term of 2-3yrs sef.

I unfortunately agree with you. Dollar is the way to go to cushion the future effects.
