Raider76:So you don't see the difference between an inefficient government taking oil-backed loans to fund handouts and unrelated projects, and a business borrowing to expand production and improve efficiency? You see these two as the same? That’s honestly disappointing. ![]() |

Locotrader:I hope you won't end up monkey hunting yourself ![]() Convertible loan stock is not the same as ordinary shares. You sef do the maths. 300M+ of convertible loan stock @N4.75 each, translated to 900M+ ordinary shares. What is the cost per ordinary share? Hint: It is multiples cheaper than you are buying now. But to be fair, that transaction is already a few years old so it's as expected. As for free float, I suggest you wait for the 2024 audited results where all will be laid bare for us to see who owns what. ![]() |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 11:06am On Jun 11, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2:Lol. No be small thing... 😊 Seems some entities are buying Oando in market...... The rate at which the 700+ single offer was picked once.... Another one @435+ was picked almost immediately too.. It shows one big guy is buying from the look of things. |

jonnysessy:It is very unfortunate to note that that your #5 in 2004 was more valuable then than the current price of GT Bank shares of #70. E.g: Your #5 as at 2004 can buy a unit of BIC brand of writing pen but today #70 can't buy one. It is currently #100 or more today. |

Valthegreat:That’s what I’ve been saying — most of these stocks will reprice over time. As long as they’re not losing money and are generating steady returns, you can buy and hold any of them; they’ll preserve your capital. Just keep an eye on the annual reports to ensure they’re still profitable. As a learner, nah waitin my mind they tell me. |
