Agbalowomeri:It will only get to those JIJOist before the ponzi ends. Oando as a company can only become sustainable when it consistently starts paying good dividend. A company that pays good dividend consistently is a sustainable one. History is replete with stocks like Oando. Forte Oil(FO) was like Oando, investors only made good money through absurd price appreciation. Forte Oil was fond of paying mediocre dividends. Forte Oil is now Ardova, and the same monkey hunter who presided over Forte Oil is now in control of First Bank and has brought the tradition of poor dividend and pumping of stock price to the roof(like N100 very soon) while paying 60 Kobo to N2 dividend. Never forget history because it will always repeats itself! |

EDUECO:You could be right from your own angle. That is why no more emotions in any stock. That was my biggest mistake in the past. Now head or tail we must win We now adopt good margin of safety in dealing with many of this wolves. Alhaji go soon come play his on with what ever listing he is planning. |

Agbalowomeri:Let the goldmine stand and prosper... Opacity and fuzziness in governance are issues for sure. Shareholders will figure out how to fight those. |

EDUECO:You may be right in some of your opinions, but First Banks has had a history of very poor dividend payout, long before Otedola bought into it. Check the history. Oando has a difficult time transiting from a downstream to an upstream company, which is extremely capital intensive and quite different from importing and selling refined products through filling stations. Oando as a downstream company was paying dividends of N2, N3, N4 per share consistently around 2001-2011 until when they decided to go upstream with the acquisition of ConocoPhilips and things became tight and crude oil fell drastically. You can check their dividend history |

mikeapollo:So,it will take them 20 years to transition? Is SEPLAT not operating in the same Nigeria as Oando? Oando management is either corrupt or clueless! |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 5:35pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
zendi:The monkey hunter is also in charge of a Power Company. Very soon ,he will take FBNH to like N150 or N200 and will be declaring dividend of N1 or N1.50. And when he is through with FBNH,he will take the stock price to like N300 and exit! All hail the chief monkey hunter! |

EDUECO:So true but that was during analog era. Most investors today can sense whatsoever is cooking realtime to make decisions. People today are better informed. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 5:45pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
EDUECO:Lol! it is easier said than done! To me, SEPLAT is more of a UK upstream company, listed in Nigeria. Oando are already operating as an upstream company!. What remains now is for them to tidy up their loan indebtedness e.g. by raising more equity or strategic partnership. How many indigenous, Nigerian upstream companies do you have in the country with a population of 200m+ pople? We only had the multinationals like Shell, Total, Mobil ENI, Chevron, Addax etc. until a few years ago. That should tell you something. |

| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 5:52pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
mikeapollo:Oga,is like SEPLAT operates their Off Shore and On Shore oil & gas platform in the United Kingdom? The truth is always bitter! Oando's management is either corrupt or clueless. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 5:57pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
Payunsin:About 10 years back wasn't analogue era. Do you know some investors have bought Oando with the intention of getting dividend in like 5 years while ignoring good dividend paying stocks. Such investors will likely end in regret. |

EDUECO:So traders and jijoists should take position to benefit from the price pump? |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 6:01pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
EDUECO:Fair comment; that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Some of us are only following the money! |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 6:03pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
mikeapollo:Your very right! But don't loose your guard while following the money. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 6:05pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
zendi:Is like you don't know Ote? Ote likes money doubling. He did it in Forte Oil. He did it in GEREGU. And he is going to do it in FBNH. |

EDUECO:Clueless it is not. It brought Oando up from it's humble levels to the present empire. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 6:18pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
EDUECO:I respect you opinions Can you go further to answer any of this two questions make we check something. I What will you have them do differently now based on what is on ground/results 2.If you are asked to join the management as it stands now.what will u do since you may not be OK with the present results as I personally see gradual improvements. Note I didn't buy oando based on FA analysis at first but now I am keeping base on.my own FA analysis after seeing thr results/gradual progress |

EDUECO:Thanks my bro. I understand your point that one needs to be careful not to lose money. Some of us were just a bit lucky with Oando because I bought it around N5-N6 per share and I have been waiting to qualify for the 2nd share redistribution which is due on 30 June. After that, we see what next. |

Streetinvestor2:They should minimize cost. The management should copy what SEPLAT is doing right, they don't have to reinvent the wheel |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by EDUECO(m): 6:27pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
zendi:The management should minimize cost of production and look for ways to increase revenue or sales. |

Hmmmm |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 6:37pm On Jun 11, 2025 |
EDUECO:Lol! These your comments are just too simplistic! What is Seplat doing? What is the cost structure of Oando vs Seplat and what factors are responsible? Are they drilling in the same oil well or terrain? Are they controlling the same volume of reserves and production? Do they have the same legacy issues e.g. staff gratuity severance package e.g. Oando inherited Unipetrol with some staff working since the 1990s. Seplat was incorporated in 2009, just about 15 years ago. Seplat came with Eurodollar. Oando was dealing in the naira-based downstream sector and had to transition into the dollar-based upstream sector, then the naira was devalued! etc etc. |
