About 10 years back wasn't analogue era.

Do you know some investors have bought Oando with the intention of getting dividend in like 5 years while ignoring good dividend paying stocks. Such investors will likely end in regret.
Those who loaded it at N4 won't be complaining though.
In adversities cones better opportunities sometimes.

Start buying Cadbury now before their full recovery.
It's a potential N100 stock

Answer from AI...

Final Answer:
You would need to invest approximately ₦43,230,000 today in the NGX, growing at 32% annually, to reach ₦1,000,000,000 in 11 years.

Key Notes:
32% annual return is extremely aggressive—very few investors consistently achieve this.

Inflation & risks are not accounted for—real returns may differ.

Diversification & reinvestment of dividends could impact results.

Past performance ≠ future returns—NGX volatility can affect outcomes.
And the 1 billion may be 100k usd in 11 years time

Is like you don't know Ote?

Ote likes money doubling.

He did it in Forte Oil.

He did it in GEREGU.

And he is going to do it in FBNH.
💯

Google Forte Oil price history.

Forte Oil once got to around N400 and later fell back to N20 .

Forte Oil is now Ardova(which is now around N16) . Ardova is now a mediocre company.

Oando can go back to N2 !

History always repeat itself.

Oga I know!

Do you think I hate capital appreciation?

I get my capital appreciation in consistent good dividend paying companies. I value my peace of mind.

I don't want to get trapped in stocks like GEREGU. Only few buyers to the multitude of sellers in GEREGU stock grin cheesy

The management should minimize cost of production and look for ways to increase revenue or sales.
Is this the special innovation/idea you will bring to the table
And going through thr report you didn't see this on the table.
You can see why everyone is best coach outside the game.
You tried but nothing extraordinary in your suggestions as I expected.

My Oga, although I am still a learner; I have passed the stage of reading financial report.

I don't have to read financial report to know that Zenith Bank and ACCESSCORP will both pay good dividend from now till 2030. angry ; cool

And I can always get my capital appreciation from any of these good dividend paying stocks.

You don't read financial reports and you say the ceo of a company is not doing well or smart. That means you consult the oracle to have gained such insight..lol

And I am neither a learner in the business. The business is not only about dividend. Infact is now I am taking the dividend part serious because of what I have come to understand about cash flow.I am considering cash flow now because I am working towards retirement
Dividend paying stock does not guarantee share appreciation. We see some dividend payments that don't make sense like the present one from japaul

If people know what it took Ote$ to finally lay hands on a Bank like First Bank as the largest shareholder after fighting so hard with TOE.

You will understand that FirstHoldco is a gem that you should keep accumulating. First Bank is the last bustop for Ote$

Dividend don't lie,!
A good company always declare good result from Q1 to Q4. Its cost of doing business is always low when compared to its revenue.

A bad company often declare loss in its financial results. Its cost of doing business is always high when compared to its revenue. Its earning per share is always very poor or negative.

And $100k today, would be worth $50k. I totally get it and I am not trying to fight it. I just want to get to the point where I don’t concern myself with dollar/naira rate.

Heck, I may already be at that point tbh

He may not let it go,but he is very good at declaring poor profit and dividend.

Just check the dividend of GEREGU.High cost of doing business is where he might get his cut of the business

This oil is not needed physically in Saudi Arabia. Buyers will pay for the oil in Saudi Aramco's office in Riyadh. Then they will be directed to Oando for physical delivery.

Oando and NNPC would have been notified of the sale electronically. So Oando will collect the oil from NNPC and ship to the buyer's refinery in Japan, China, India, South Korea etc.

Oando would not render these services as missionary work. In fact you can only imagine how lucrative any kind of contract with Saudi Arabia will be.

We have said many times here there can be no deadly scare over Oando as long as the Uncle Top Guy is on seat. If you read the story, it's the Top Guy that negotiated the deal personally with the Saudi Prince. So do you think Oando got this juicy role by her own lobbying?

There should be many more similar juicy things coming the way of Oando over time, courtsey of the Top Guy's ministry.
Please House note I'm not saying that oil-for-loan deal is a good policy for Nigeria. This one, if it goes through, I don't know if it's good or bad for the country, but it's hammering for Oando, is my point.

Very high cost of doing business will likely be increasing. And that's one the major way he is going to make money.

No interest or single digit interest loan is another way he is going to benefit.
