Of course. He can run it through OPEX being an insider but I’m also talking about share price wise. Very possible he can pump it to whatever valuation he feels like for networth purposes and you, who thought you were wise playing there are unable to get out. And maybe when you eventually do, you’re selling back to him ![]() He’s going to acquire Otudeko’s stake, bringing him to 20% ownership and then they’re about to raise N350bn through private placement (him and his friends). Even at N35, that’s 10bn new shares listed which will be 20% of Total OS EDUECO: |

I don't use dividend payments in judging any company beside the banking sector. I look out for other things If na dividend be my main interest I for dey fix income instruments whr I for collect upto 25% sometimes ago.Even now some mmf are doing over 20% |

fashionnisir:If you are presently in this business targeting dividend as you main thing. You just dey destroy you money. The main target should be appreciation with dividend as jara.No dividend go make you beat inflation/naira devaluation when it occurs as it stands now. For me now if I am picking any stock that is not in my portfolio for averaging up .That stock na minimum of 80% for a yr I dey target if you be fresh intake into my investment portfolio For jijo portfolio anything can go |

fashionnisir:Otedola will never dump geregu. Many pple didnt know what happened to FO that led to its rise in price and subsequent fall. Everything about FO rise and fall was linked to geregu. It was the acquisition of geregu by FO that raised the price from N7.73 at the beginning of 2013, to over N60 when the rumors broke, and over N100 when it became official. It then closed the year at almost N250. Otedola simply removed geregu for himself alone, leading to the collapse in share price of FO. It is the same geregu that we are seeing now. |

Mankind2024:Bro..im only stating a fact and i am being conservative. instead of 'cautioning ', you should be curious and ask the right questions. How many assets in 2024 on nsempa trended over 80% within 6 months, i can count over 30 off the top of my head.....In 2025, how many assets have trended over 80% so far, i can still count at least 10 of them with at least 3 over 100%. Brings me back to my prior post before the one you refer to, the real issue is at what price are you entering.........do you realise that folks that followed our tsla article on just this 6th are up 16% already while aapl is still setting up according to the plan...both articles are free on ewnation.com. Cash / Entry is king!...many folks here feel that everyday they log into their morgan capital account then they have to buy something...fine and good but at what RR delivery, i'm really not interested in being a tortoise investor or whatever its called ...but a smart investor because i know its a game of supply and demand period!... not in for too much convo but 'cautioning' has no place in this discourse.. |

[quote author=EDUECO post=135712300]Google Forte Oil price history. Forte Oil once got to around N400 and later fell back to N20 . Forte Oil is now Ardova(which is now around N16) Ardova is now a mediocre company. Oando can go back to N2 ! Know how to play your game n don't be caught napping. The shiikini money I made from Oando is enough for my lifetime. If it gets back to N2 I will reload massively from the same Oando loot I bought at ₦5.71 n sold closed to N90. Probably u are the one that I sold it to at N90, you will curse Oando n I will praise Oando. That's life! |

How can I be the president of a oil dependent nation n my proxy/Nephew coy in the same sector won't enjoy. My commonsense analysis why I invested bigtime on Oando when Tinubu was elected. Just imagine if Tinubu win second term Continue waiting at N2 junction ooooo |

Streetinvestor2:Some have recorded 800 to 900 percent in GEREGU but cannot sell. I can always get what you're looking for in stock like Fidelity Bank; I bought Fidelity at around N1 and sound at around N20. Fidelity is a good dividend paying stock and it's a liquid one. I bought UCAP at around 90 Kobo and sold at around N18. Those who have not sold are still enjoying good dividend every year. Both Fidelity and UCAP are still around and doing well. Sorry, this was not meant for you |

@Payunsin I'm not an Oando kind of person! Some have recorded 800 to 900 percent in GEREGU but cannot sell. I can always get what you're looking for in stock like Fidelity Bank; I bought Fidelity at around N1 and sound at around N20. Fidelity is a good dividend paying stock and it's a liquid one. | Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 7:42am On Jun 12, 2025 |
EDUECO:Though it is not ment for me.An illiquid manipulated stock is a different ball game. Those in it should have thr strategy to exit. You don't have to exit at the highest price in the market or target. Will you call bataglass a bad company because thr dividend over the yrs is not impressive and shares illiquid too.Nevertheless management has been growing the company |

EDUECO:The game played at youthful age may not be the idea when getting old any more.At young age you may be doing everything to generate fund.At a stage you will be thinking of creating generational wealth like alhaji. I think ote is transforming to this stage with the fight for fbn.It does not mean he will not be short changing shareholders by different means available like the head quarters project on line. |

Valthegreat:I think this is not true but I stand to be corrected. From 2004 to 2025, gtb has paid out #45 in total dividends. Add that back to the current #70 per share and you have #115 as total return which will still buy your Bic which you used as example. So I will say an investor who had bought gtb since 2004 has gotten a value back from their invested capital |
