The large Iranian-American community (with most being the direct descendants of the exiles from the 1979 Iranian Shiite invasion and overthrow of the Shah of Iran) do NOT have issues with the Jews. Matter of FACT, based off of my advanced knowledge of decades of international history, when the Shah of Iran was on the throne, the Jewish community in Tehran alone was high and Shiraz in Iran was the major epicenter of Jewish immigration from other countries of Europe and the Caucasus region into Iran by passenger ships many decades ago.

Historically, Cyrus the Great (the King of Kings or Shah han Shah) who founded the Achaemenid Empire in 550 BCE and ruled it until his death in 530 BCE, was a Zoroastrian by religion till he died and was the Emperor of the Persian Empire that colonised the former Babylonians in 539 BCE and hence the ancient Jews who were colonised by the Babylonians.


The Persian (Iranian) religion of Zoroastrianism for those who don't know gave birth to the most dominant Pharisaic branch of Judaism (the term Pharisees being etymologically DERIVED from "Persian or Parsi" referring to modern IRAN) the Persian empire's colonial rule of Israel which is an imperfect copy of the Zoroastrian religion. The ORIGINAL followers of the older Israeli religion who resisted the new religion of Cyrus the Great and his religious Chief Priests or agents called Magis of the Zoroastrian religion who brought a new religion from Persian to Israel. This is common in every Empire or colony where the conquerors impose OR bring in their religion, culture, and language on the colonized people.

So historically, the Persians and Jews have had strong historical connections from the days of Cyrus the Great (The King of Kings or Shah han Shah) several centuries back.

There are many advanced modern books I've read since the 1980s on comparative religion that cover this topic and historical religious relationship between ancient Persia and the Jews.
