In the history of me being on nairaland, I've never actually came across a thread whereby you guys were just showing appreciation to each other's tribes, so I thought I should create a platform for you guys to show each other some love for a change... I'd like to know apart from your tribe, which other Nigerian tribe or tribes do you like and would possibly like to date or even get married from? What do you like about them?

As a South African, my favourite SA tribes apart from mine has to be the Sotho and Xhosa tribe, preferably the Sotho from the Free State province and Lesotho, and the Xhosa from Eastern Cape province... I just love everything that has to do with their language and culture.

Igbos

I love them ...

Their food
Their women ..
Their enterprising spirit.
Their tenacity.

Every thing about them.

Benue- e get why😁
Edo and Delta - their guys are always friendly.
Igbo - for their corporation.

1. Yoruba.......Most of them are naturally respectful and easy going unlike other Nigerian tribes.

2. Hausa.......Very simple people, Hausas years back were very friendly to the extent I even trust them more than my tribespeople. The insurgency in Northern Nigeria spoilt everything and made it look as if they're evil but that's not true. I haven't seen anybody that has lived in the North before speak ill of Hausas.

3. Bini.......We were brothers back then before the government decided to make us different states. I still regard them as my blood. Benin girls are very beautiful, as a matter of fact my wife is from the ancient city of Benin.......I couldn't resist staring at her the very first day I set my eyes on her. Today she's the mother of my little princess.

I like the sound of igbo language. Their women are fine

1. Benue (Idoma). Drm sabi give free kepkus. God bless Doshima for Markurdi town . Na me they run away that year.


2. Ibibio. One good thing is that they know how to cook. Secondly,they can knack the hell out of you and you forget ti go your papa house. One gave me Kobnomi for Uyo. That was how I forgot that I was married for three years until I was delivered in Cele church.



3. Ibo (Ebonyi ). Chaii, though they are naive but I enjoyed. One was my neighbour, she was very easy to maintain.
Just one indomie and egg, I am permitted to shine Congo for three weeks.

The day I bought her phone, her kpekus was mine for one year except if she was menstruating

I don’t care about tribe but individual

As long as you have good character and vibes we’ll click, I don’t care about tribe or religion.

Hausa

-They are very hardworking
-Friendly
-Simple lifestyle including dressing
-Once you understand Hausa like this, they will pack all their goods into your sack in discounted price
-their educated ladies are very beautiful and modest

Dislikes

Dirty
Religion extremists

That's nice, but can we only just focus on the positive side? Because I'm trying to avoid tribal wars.

Benue: Idoma tribe : very warm and hospitable people.

It's surreal the way their people keep getting decimated and they all keep straight faces on the forum and even go as far as denying their indigenous status all because of fear or shame

Their language is simple
The people are respectful and mind their business

Hausa - courteous, amiable.
Benue - pleasant personalities
Yoruba - Brothers in arms

Akwa ibom - for their food.

These are the ones I've encountered.

The Okririka-Ijaw tribe of Rivers State .
Did my NYSC in Bolo Island , Ogu/Bolo LGA part of Rivers State back then.
Mingled with the people well and love the whole experience .
Very friendly people .

AKWA IBOM .. their ladies are something else

Love every good human with a good soul

In no particular order

Hausa: They can be so loyal, and simple
Igbo: They can be friendly, social
Akwa Ibom/calabr: very pretty ladies that are good cooks, caring and hmmm hmmmm


Death to prejudice, death to hate and stereotyping

Urhobo people, they are very welcoming and nice to visitors. They also believe in justice for all

Well as for my tribe comes to me first before any other tribe, my second tribe suppose be akwa ibom, but statistics talk say they have up to about 2.5 kpians for there, na why I run...
