I hope we are aware that true day traders are scarce in the NGX due to relatively low liquidity and short trading hours. Most TA traders are essentially 'jump in, jump out' investors, who quickly shift to short-term investing when the market doesn't meet their expectations, seeking 10-20% profits before exiting. |

Streetinvestor2:My advise is to wait for results to come out before knowing which banks to invest in. Profits are going to take a hit from non performing loans. Plus it's not like this market reacts quickly to news so there'll be plenty of time to buy. If you're not holding Ellah or consumer goods companies; hold cash. Banking sector is not very clear right now |

Hogwarthtrades:Thank you Sir Eku Market ooo Seems the numbers of traders has grown exponentially! Guess the various apps that enabled pseudo real time trading has helped. Could also see that there are now a number of billionaires here. Please do take away for the rest of us. Could also see interests in dead, about to die, living on life support companies.! That's the way to learn by paying appropriate school fees. The market is bubbling so let us enjoy it. ![]() To all the GURUS I say Nagode |

Streetinvestor2:If you are trader then Ellah Lakes will be good for you. Sentimental Analysis favours them. For a long term investor, they are damn too small! Better stay with the market leader. Happy investing |

CBN's circular to some banks on forbearance loans..... *GTCO says they've long cleared it and was clearly stated in the published 2024 FYE report * ZENITH says it will be cleared by June 2025 * We await response from other indicted banks as well... * Meanwhile, shey First Bank dey follow them drag dividend payment or no payment? 🙄 How much dem dey pay before self? Lol So, CBN needs to check their records and come up with updated info on the circular.....and stop causing unnecessary panic in the system. Make dem no spoil the good reforms ongoing..

SonofElElyonRet:As long as ELLAH mgt do a good job taking off into growth it’s good. In successful ventures the growth phase returns profit that multiplies money like x10 in a shorter period than more mature businesses. New ventures also carry risk of failure. But if there is no failure money multiples like x10 in less than a decade. |

BabsO2:The banks stocks will crash before the end of the year or first quarters of next year. Investors who are shortsighted and are not seeing the handwriting now will loose a lot. I'm waiting for the crash to loads lots of bank shares. |
