It is likely to be 1:13 or 1:14 (based on my sketchy calculations which gave 1:13.70, but there is no fraction of shares).

1:12, of course with the compounding effect of the yet to be credited units from the last one.

megawealth01:
What's the ratio of the sharing for June 30?

It cannot be the same ratio as tranche 1, although the same number of units 641,856,300 will be distributed

When the Banking sector sneezes, all other sectors catches cold. It was a bloody market today. But the banks resisted and they closed not too bad with this prevailing news. Happy that Presco closed N1000 today. Got to get some funds and await some of these banks stocks. I already noticed they fall rapidly in the first hour of trading day. Later, they will start resisting. Imagine Zenith dropped as low as N43 today but, later closed at N46. The race for bargain hunting had begun.
This round is gone. Zenith will close positive tomorrow

Tranche 2 ration is 1:12 just like Tranche 1. However, the share distribution is not very direct. There won't be share allocation to any pf the extra get from allocation.

You sound very confident like you have insider info.

Please inform OJT to activate the release clause for the Q1 '25 results

Thank you grin

Obvious many here did not experience the 2008 market crash nor the 2020 Covid 19 induced crash. People panicking over non dividend payment! When last did ETI paid dividend?

The market over reaction should present good buying opportunities that will lead to wealth transfer.

For as long as the fundamentals are still STRONG than no shaking.

Eku market oooo

My thoughts on Presco joining the N1,000 club and where it could go from here.

"All shares that are caused to be distributed pursuant to the said AGM resolution shall be distributed within a period of 36 months commencing 30th January 2025..."

To all OandO unit holders, the above statement literally means that there is NO defined date for the allocation of Phase 1 (Tranche 1).

The Cowboy Games... cool

Distribution might not have date but qualifications have date... People don't mind when they will distribute it provided they qualify

If you consider and add those who qualified on Feb 14,2025 (tranche 1) to the pre-existing shares already in issue, it changes the base figure (denominator) for the total number of shares outstanding for tranche 2, so the ratio for tranche 2 cannot be same as tranche 1, even though the same number of shares will be redistributed.
Make Oando just answer person make we stop all these calculations and back and forth
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 4:42pm On Jun 17, 2025
Personally I considered the 1 for 12 bonus to be synonymous to a dividend.

Overall, the total distribution comes to 1 for 2 held over 36months.

However, what is the sense in qualifying in Feb 2025 and receiving allocation in December 2027.
Aside the fact that the holder is disenfranchised by missing out on other QD...

Provided each tranche has a qualification date.
Meanwhile, what if there are no shares to distribute at the end of the day?

Yes, each tranche has a definite qualifying date. Feb 14, 2025 (tranche 1) and Jun 30, 2025 (tranche 2).
An exercise like this must always have a qualifying date because of the closure of register of members for the eventual redistribution/sharing of the units.
Once you had qualified, you may even decide to sell your shares but you will still get your bonus units whenever the actual distribution is done at a later date, similar to how bonuses are executed and implemented.

I see. Could this be the reason why the previous allocation has not been credited to beneficiaries since it will not be factored into this coming one?

Dangote makes scale look like child’s play; Man just dropped $250 million on 4,000 CNG trucks like he was shopping for snacks. To put it in perspective, the combined fleet of Nigeria’s top seven downstream players doesn’t even come close. The guy’s playing chess, major moves.

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by opaclem: 5:50pm On Jun 17, 2025
This is logical view but in this case it is different.
For Tranche 1 & 2, it's gonna be the same ratio 1: 12.
Distribution after qualification for Tranche 2 to limit confusion and one of the reasons why they haven't distribute. I see distribution in Q3.
Afterwards there is a possibility of raising more funds and and creating more units.

No wonder, the oil marketers are panicking, holding meetings, and painting all sorts of doomsday scenarios if Dangote is allowed to set up his fuel distribution system.
