I may have to sell off my entire holdings in Wema Bank and anything to do with GTL. The stress from GTL is too much to bear.

If GTL is the problem and not WEMA, so i will advice you keep your wema. Sell on or before qualification dates, then re-enter after markdown.

Anytime you want to cash out, you can sell and the proceed of your sales has nothing to do with GTL.

This is what i would do

And still talking portfolio weighting, I'll also be more inclined to assign a higher weighting/position in PRESCO than OKOMU given present reality.
...again, a 65-35% or 60-40% weighting should make good sense from a value chase standpoint.

Similarly, I will gladly assign a 70-30% or 75-25% portfolio weighting swapping FBNH for UBA.
However, I will still maintain a slightly higher position in ACCESS ahead of UBA. (max 40% in the later compared to the former)

PRESCO was priced at N80-N95 in the market at the time, while OKOMU was priced at N200+ (rough estimates from my memory, if correct).
Anyone who frequents this thread could not have missed Pa Emma's estimates and analyses of PRESCO over the last 2-3years.
The pasture is usually green when viewed from the other side.

It's safe to say that every "intentional" mid-long term investor has benefited from at least one of the many 10-20X baggers (FCMB, FIDELITY, TRANSCORP, UCAP, PRESCO, SEPLAT, etc.) in the last 3 years. Both sprints and marathons are races.

If only people can target ACCESS at sub 19 and FIRST BANK at sub 25 if they ever gets that low...

When ACCESS and FIRST BANK start race eh even Usain Bolts of banking won't catch up

I bought at 32, FA is saying maybe N80 so 20% or so upside from here. I see better use for the funds currently in Cadbury
I do hope someday soon you go do lecture on FA (step by step with practice question sef). Make we sef learn to measure stock valuation.
Biko.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 6:38pm On Jun 23, 2025
It’s quite simple and straight forward tbh. Look at the historical trends, margins, quarters that tend to be the strongest, historical PE, payout ratios. And also understand the macro space to see how it affects the sector that the company operates in. Combine both and Of course understand what the business does

Noted. Thank you. Mostly unclaimed/new dividends. Wema Bank was an interesting case with a mouth watering Rights offer juxtaposed close to dividends and presenting value all the way till date, making the above strategy a bit more challenging.
