@Locodemy, my friend, no one has displaced you from the market steering. I consider your statement a classic case of trading and investment superstition, as described by Mark Douglas in his timeless book, "The Psychology of Trading." If I were you, I'd shift my mindset from being a trader to an investor.
As stocks don finish for market now,na to ride on the one you have dey go.
That's my philosophy now.If you meet 100%,still ride same stock to another 100% and another 100%.

I don use style tell you I am an investor in 2025/2026.

Talking about dragging. A company expected to make a profit after tax of N200 billion in 2025 having 1 billion outstanding shares can drag another company in the sector that is not sure of making a profit after tax of N1 billion yet having out 5 billion outstanding shares with plans to cover more debts to equity
That still doesn’t make Ellah comparable to Afroil. Yes it is smaller than Oga PRESCO and it just resumed cash flow from redoil. That’s why it sells at a highly discounted PB comparatively.

Comparable to an extent, insiders started selling, insider started pushing the stock price in preparation was debt swap to equity some money miss road put down money in the anticipation of this.

The only difference is that in current scenario story was well delivered, social media helped to make the story viral. This was not the case 20 years ago

My boss bought huge volume at N43. He told me he will sell at N500 when he bought. I told him he has malaria. He said I shouldn't bother buying drugs for him. He is still insisting to sell at N500. Hmmm! He is truly a crocodile. He also told me that it's only after CI cross N15 (book value), then N20 that I will start seeing why he will sell CI at N150. I can't be like him. I no fit look stock do X3 and still hold. My village people dey pursue me. Well una been dey call him Crocodile for here. I now truly agree he is a crocodile. If I try his kind of patience, na the patience go even kill me. Imagine how Beta was very very very illiquid for years! I still believe he has malaria concerning CI.. grin

The market's volatility is putting your resilience and patience to the test. Rest assured, your knowledge about Aradel is sufficient to trust its potential. When the time is right, its intrinsic value will shine through, and you'll reap the rewards. Stay vigilant, and get ready for the anticipated bagger.

Oasisblue:
What's up with Aradel? Very good financial results, sitting on huge assets, including the part-acquisition of Shell Petroleum Development Nigeria, yet the stock hardly appreciates!

I think its high time we all understand that there is relationship between age and risk tolerance. For a rational person, you don't expect a rational majority of pa emma of 80+ to stake his Money on companies he thinks is risky.
There is reason why there is formula for calculating the percentage of money to put in equity market for different age bracket.

Are u expecting pa emma to see from a younger you lenses? His advice will always be conservative based on his age.

The more closer you are to guessing strangers age the more you will be able to guess the reasons behind their opinions if you must seek for their advice.

Based on personal opinion, he is a very conservative investor with good mind.
