Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has announced plans to list two of his group’s most significant industrial ventures — Dangote Fertiliser and Dangote Refinery — on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), opening up ownership of the multibillion-dollar companies to public investors. Speaking on Friday at the Afreximbank Annual Meetings (AAM2025) held in Abuja, the President of Dangote Group disclosed that Dangote Fertiliser will be listed on the Nigerian capital market before the end of 2025, while the Dangote Petroleum Refinery will follow in 2026. https://hallmarknews.com/dangote-to-list-fertiliser-refinery-businesses-on-nigerian-stock-exchange/?amp=1 Fertilizer 2025 Refinery 2026 |

megawealth01:Exactly. Only some good news about capital raise or Q2 results would reignite interest in it. If they maintain the trend in Q1 results in Q2, then we can expect something good. |

BullBearMkt:Your picks/predictions are never doubted. ADDITION: my post was misinterpreted as questioning whether DEAPCAP stocks will make people money. My second paragraph summarizes the purpose of my post - mockery of the comparison of DEAPCAP to UCAP. It is a common wise practice to invest in what someone understands. If a guru mentions a pick, an objective mind does their homework. If TA predicts where stock price is heading, an FA person does their homework by referring to the financial reports. It is called due diligence. Everyone has investment goals and the criterion for taking positions in company shares. Traders make a kill on stocks that make no fundamental sense all the time. There's a common long-standing saying that "omo to mo way lo mo iwe". It means the student who knows "the way" is the one who is intelligent. This saying has ruined the minds of Nigerian students and will continue to mess their futures up until the mentality is changed. It is why many graduates struggle in the labour market and in entry level positions - good on paper, excellent results, but no retention or practical understanding of course contents. Same mentality is extended to every human endeavor including investing/trading. "The one who makes the most money is the smartest investor/trader". This mentality makes people rely on handouts (in Streetinvestor's language), never do any homework once given a stock pick, believe every price projection, stay complacent in ignorance, always subjective in reasoning, and receiving objective counter opinions as an irrelevant attack on their own views. Several people are successful at trading stocks, crypto, name it, but they have no reasonable understanding of what makes them money. All they know is: take risks, believe when others are doubting, buy and hold, put money in what people put money into, follow who know road. The young generations these days ask questions. If you cannot educate a child on how to take logical steps to achieving excellent results, you will lose credibility. Everything is not just about results. Many Nigerian graduates get into the Western world and struggle to first unlearn the mentality in Nigerian schools before adopting and learning the reality in a world that functions based on facts, research, knowledge and objectivity. |

Warning to NSEMPA Self-Investors: Ramp-and-Dump Scams As a member of the NSEMPA community, I want to alert you to a growing scam trend targeting retail investors like us. Ramp-and-dump schemes are on the rise, and it's crucial we're aware of the risks. How it works: Scammers pose as trusted contacts, stock pickers or advisors, often inviting us to join private groups or chats where they "share tips" about promising stocks. These stocks are usually low-volume and low-cap, referred to as "junk or dead" stocks in the word of Mr Streetinvestor🫡. The scam unfolds as follows: They promote a dead or junk stock with claims of insider knowledge or hidden value. - As we buy in, the price rises, and the scammers sell their holdings at inflated prices. - Once they offload their shares, the price crashes, leaving us with significant losses. Red flags: - Unsolicited messages or tips from strangers about "can't-miss" investments opportunity in dead or junk stocks. - Claims of inside info or secret opportunities. - Pressure to buy immediately, telling you about a moving train, the next big thing. the hottest stock. - Private chat groups with hype and little substance. Protect yourself: - Always research thoroughly using trusted sources. Most AI Apps are free to use, seek unbiased opinion from Mr Ai. For instance, ask AI, What is your view on DEAPCAP listed on NGX? Would you consider it an investment choice in a hypothetical scenario? - Be skeptical of viral investment tips. - Report suspicious activity in our community. - Trust your instincts – if something feels off, it probably is. Let's look out for each other and stay vigilant. Your safety matters, and together, we can create a safer investment environment.

BullBearMkt:For Caverton, I'm thinking the future is bright... "Caverton Marine Limited, a subsidiary of Caverton Offshore Support Group Plc (COSG), has partnered with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) and Swedish shipping giant Stena Bulk to establish Unity Shipping Worldwide, a new global maritime venture. The strategic joint venture was officially formalised in April 2025 at the NNPC Towers in Abuja. The joint venture marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s quest to reposition itself as a key player in global energy logistics. It aligns with NNPC’s long-standing vision to strengthen its shipping operation through NNPC Shipping Limited (NSL) and to expand its footprint in international maritime transportation. Caverton’s inclusion as the Nigerian partner reflects its industry leadership and proven track record in delivering marine and aviation logistics services across the oil and gas value chain. With clients such as Shell, Chevron, Total, and Nigeria LNG, Caverton is well-positioned to bring operational depth, local insight, and commercial capability to the partnership. Speaking at the signing ceremony, NNPC's Group CEO, Mr. Bayo Ojulari, described the initiative as a critical step in the company’s transformation agenda. “Shipping is central to our growth strategy, and this venture represents a historic and unprecedented leap forward for NNPC and Nigeria.” The partnership has been widely applauded by senior government officials. Minister of Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, called the venture a bold step in advancing local content and industrial reforms under President Bola Tinubu’s administration. “Caverton’s role at the core of this partnership demonstrates our commitment to indigenous empowerment and sustainable national growth,” he said. Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Hon. Adegboyega Oyetola, also praised the collaboration, noting that it aligns with the Ministry’s push to re-establish Nigeria’s presence in global shipping through strong private-sector participation. Unity Shipping Worldwide is expected to enhance Nigeria’s shipping capacity, boost employment, and contribute to long-term economic development." |

Streetinvestor2:What this post is not: - An attempt to defend Ellah. - An attempt to convince anyone to buy or sell. I can't be bothered what everyone else does with their money. ![]() - An attack on any persons that may be the authors of any of the points addressed. - Specifically directed at moniker quoted except otherwise stated. - A forecast of Ellah's SP trajectory in the short or long term. Fun fact – Personally, I have a 100% loyalty to portfolio being managed not to any stock or company including GTB the GOAT bank. I fought and won a battle to continue using this bank for ALL family related support yet I don’t hold shares in the bank so Ellah can take several seats. Ellah’s journey on NSEMPA these past few weeks or months: • Ellah was an audio farm until it was not. • Ellah is now a small garden. Wait till you find out it’s not a show stopper. • Directors’ loans were converted to equity because Ellah couldn’t repay them. • Directors’ will flood the market with the shares so they could recover their funds until they did not. • Ellah won’t pass N4 until is got to N5. Then offers are coming at N5 for sure until it got to N7. • CEO wants to raise money, steal it then japa. Both the thought process and conclusion are ridiculous. @Street that was an emotion-laden post. Too much energy, passion and aggression. You could even be sued for libel ![]() ALL false, misleading, fallacious and irrational considering the facts. I often remind myself and always tell my friends never to react through emotions as you are likely to not make the best decisions and say or do something embarassing. Stop, think, analyse the situation then decide on what to do. This is applicable in all facets of life. You’re most likely going to get a better outcome than from an emotional outburst. • Before you respond to that email or text message. Think and think again. • Before to respond to your partner or parents, think and think again. • Before you react to poor service or bad attitude, think and think again. • When in a difficult situation, don’t act impulsively. Think and think again. Develop critical thinking and analysis. Learn to put together a series of logical or rational thoughts and derive your conclusions or judgement from them. Where there are unknowns, leave room for benefit of doubt and mitigate risks. It is what a wise person would do. A few points I believe the rest of the market knows and consider as facts: - Details of director loans is in the audited report. - Management is not REALLY interested in retail buying shares. They have been busy with equity conversions at every opportunity. All facts point to this. - Directors are converting portion of their salaries to shares. - They have also created an opportunity for themselves to acquire more cheap shares by seeking approval to convert fresh loans to equity up till EGM date (future dated loans up to 25th July 2025). - Management has signified intention to ACQUIRE another entity NOT to be acquired themselves. What is ambiguous about this? Why do people go an extra length to confuse themselves? - According to the Arise TV interview, there were looking to acquire on terms that will be favourable and aligned with their growth strategy. - Ellah is looking to raise UP TO N250B via several means and at times to be determined by the board. It is expected that this will generate questions. Questions: - Why would a small company like Ellah want to raise that much? - How do they intend to achieve this? - Do they have sophisticated investors, foreign portfolio investors or venture capitalists waiting in the wings? - What would they do with the money? - How about the dilution to the register or impact on share structure? Will they be looking to address this in the future via a share reconstruction or what? Management did indicate they were in discussions to acquire an entity. - How big is this entity? - Is that what the N250B would be used for? - Who are the potential targets? - Can this be likened to acquisitions that eventuated in the past eg STB vs UBA? Pure Speculation territory now as I am also left scratching my head on what the N250B would be used for: Wilmar international is now the sole owner of PZ Wilmar after PZ divested their 50% holding of the later for $70M (c. N105B) consideration. 100% of PZ Wilmar is about N210B. Could this be the target entity? Wilmar’s plan post exit of PZ Cussons: “However, we recognise the importance of having strong local partnerships in the markets where we operate and will be looking for a suitable local partner for the business.” ALL in my opinion. I could be sincerely wrong. |

Dividends to be paid by Dangote Fertilizer will be dollar denominated. Projected daily revenue is $20m "President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, said the fertiliser business has strong growth prospects, with projected daily revenue of $20 million and long-term earning potential of $70bn. NettyNelly:About 80% of CI Leasing’s total revenue comes from the marine segment, of which 60% is dollarized. When l dollarized 60% of the marine revenue historically, I observed that It earned about $22.5m from the marine segment in 2023. However, this dropped to $15.4m in 2024 (but fx devaluation made 2024 revenue look higher than the previous year). The drop in $ revenue in 2024 was largely due to its biggest vessel, MV BELLO, being non-operational for some part of 2024. (MV BELLO commands rental rates of $16k–$20k per day, compared to $4k–$5k per day for the company’s other vessels.) According to management, MV BELLO was scheduled to return to operation in April 2025, which should support a rebound in marine revenue to 2023 levels, or even higher. With this context, two factors are important for CI Leasing’s 2025 results: 1. Current vessel rates in 2025 are higher than they were in 2023. With MV BELLO back in operation, we expect higher revenue in 2025 compared to 2023. 2. The naira has depreciated significantly since 2023. At current exchange rates, CI Leasing could record higher revenue in naira terms in 2025, even if dollar revenue remains flat relative to 2023. There’s a one-off Tax payment the bussiness paid Last year, If you normalized the 2025 PAT based on this analysis, you will see significant increase in PAT My Analysis, but Still DYOR
