E get as e be.

If you buy shares with max of N150 Million and you gained not more than N10 Million there will be no capital gain tax.

However, if you bought shares worth N10M and you gained more than N10 million for those that are doing 100% and above gain, you will pay tax.

But instead of cashing out, you decide to use all the sales including the gain to repurchase shares in the same calendar year, there will be no tax
The rate is not flat. It is based on your income..will be treated as personal income tax amd na from 7 to 24%.

The above is for individual investors.

You go fear corporate organization own na
Bro please shed more light on this. Thank you sir

"Given the current economic climate, it appears that Southerners are bearing the brunt of taxation."
This is where the new VAT cum revenue distribution comes in to pacify zones for their "hardwork" and lack of it.

The parable of the Master and the servants with talents comes to mind.

Ellah is not moved by traders. Its moved by the hands behind the rights issue. They will move it to their target price. If you know how to play the game, you will surely benefit, if not them go carry your money go.

When it comes to the future of Ellah, I see it as a target for the bigger players.
What you said may not be far from the truth. What every wise market trader or investor should do now is to strategize how to benefit from movement of those moving elllah. Cause I doubt if they'll alow the stock price go down

In a situation you buy a stock with 50M and it gains like 100% in 3 yrs without you selling. Then you decide to sell 20% and wish to withdraw the money after 3 yrs.How will they calculate the CGT .
This is for some us who allows our investment over long time
When you sell bonus shares given. Will it be classified as capital gain too
The gains in MMf ,TB and bonds.will you still pay CGT on them by this tax law
