Copying and pasting without understanding is harmful — not just the act of borrowing, but also the mindset behind it. He should make sure to successfully test everything himself before showing off. Otherwise, he may end up like those who were badmouthing EllahLakes based on a single viewpoint. And yet, here we are — the stock keeps rising. Sooner or later, their mouths will go quiet, whether they come from the streets or not. grin grin grin
What is the earning per share from 2022 to 2024?

The stock price of Ellah lakes is not sustainable in the long run.

The stock price is being pumped.

By next Month when full year results show.
I will know the ceo street credibility. It is no longer far.We saw what went down with Ci leasing price yesterday as q1 results was released. Not that they even made loss in the results.

Thank you very much .
But beware of CGT, given the size of your play.

It will surely set off a taxability alert at CSCS when you sell.

That is, it's trading at highest price in the market for today's trading......(ATM means At The Moment)

Trade band for each day is: plus or minus 10% from previous closing price.
* So today, highest price it can trade is 3.60......and it's trading at N3.60

Last closing price: 3.28
Today's 10%: 3.28 x 10% = 0.328
* Lowest price for today: 3.28-0.32 = N2.96
Highest price for today: 3.28+0.32 = N3.60

** It's currently on full bid @3.60
Thank you yMcy56 for this explanation. I entered Cutix because of 1for 1 bonus that was declared. But, i later discovered i bought high and the price dropped sharply after the qualification date. Then, i put patient fund into averaging down. I ended up acquiring a large unit (for my level), so as to reduce my percentage loss. Some few days ago i observed i had reached my break-even price and i quickly off-loaded 25% of my portfolio (a wrong move). Since then it has steadily gain in price. Have to wait for the full year report to know my next move, Imagine Cutix having full bid. grin grin

How do you call taxation a rip off?

Are you aware that some countries pay as much as 40% for PIT... smiley
stokfrick:
If you use this same energy used in typing all these in abid to pressure struggling and poor citizens, to force our politicians to stop embezzling public funds first, I think you would not need to convince citizens to pay tax.
Talk of putting the cart before the horse.
Except you're somehow directly or indirectly benefiting from the ongoing rip-off

which education, is better to be in the market than timing the market grin grin grin wait it out, that way you are also learning , patience, enderances to build a better emotional tolerance . My two cent , loss is also winning . you dont loss until you sell
Ogbeni, Warren Buffett didn't get to where he is because of fear of price depreciation.. wait it out if you can.. but if you have pressing need, sell. Na jijo you wan follow Loco do before? Dat na dangerous exercise.. even me sef buy sizeable quantity on Friday and I'm down in paper value but no actual loss until I sell.
If price reverses (not saying it will but it might) after you sell at a loss, just don't let regret eat you up. Everyone has miscalculated one time or the other. Just learn from your experience and don't be beaten twice

Mr Jegede has stepped aside.
Board has a new Chairman, Mr. Segun Oloketuyi, a former MD of Wema Bank, currently a NED of CHAMS Holding plc.

He is a transformational leader and chartered accountant who masterminded Wema Bank’s recovery and digitalization.
His tenure is best remembered for financial revival, regulatory compliance, and launching ALAT, which reshaped digital banking in Nigeria...

I need to invest in my education before continuing to participate in the stock market. So I can decide for myself and stop following what people are saying here.

Once you sell the price will go up. At least I learnt that in forex. Keep your cool.

Not 'sour grapes' ! cheesy

Why should I use my money to buy the shares of a company with no substantial earnings and no consistent dividend history?

I only buy tested and trusted companies.

They have free and quality healthcare.

They have free and quality education

They have a working social welfare system

They have electricity and good road network

What do we have in Nigeria despite some people paying 25% PIT? The remaining 75%, we use it to do government work for them. I will gladly pay 50% to have all these.
