SAK:I am not ashamed to admit I am just learning that for the first time. I have been trading in shares for over two decades now but do so thru my stockbrokers. I have an account with five of them. Meristem inclusive. Maybe because I am a bit of the old school. |

Locotrader:I vividly recall back 2015 you were monkey hunting fcmb to the extent you waiting for almost a yr but immediately you sold their results came out and it skyrocketed same with Oando , Japual many other countless stocks. if which ELLAHFLAKES is the latest. The question now is will village people allow you to partake in the Cleasing party? |

Primary purpose of people in the stock market be you a trader or a long term investor, TA or FA , Spiritual or sentimental analysis is to make money . I am tired of people here who takes delight in running stocks down just because they don't like the stock . You do not have to involve yourself in a stock you do not like . They say you get yourself dirty when you fight with the pigs . As wise person, just respect yourself and leave people to be the managers of their portfolio . I am so sick of the lingo"I am trying to protect the newbies" . we all have been newbies at one time or the other and sooner or later , the newbie will learn and become wiser. Stop running down other stocks. focus on the one you are invested in . Everyone has his or her investing philosophy and as long as it is making money for you , we will all be alright . Don't juxtapose your investing philosophies on others because several factors such as age, amount of capital available and others are involved . The one that I can't get over is where some members of this forum are magnanimous enough to bring some CEOs of these companies on X spaces and ask members to come and ask questions and hear straight from the horses mouth . They won't show up and later they will start crying and asking irrelevant questions to members of the forum when they had the opportunity to questions directly to the owners of these companies. The same people will whine that people like Boniface Okezie and their likes are handpicked to ask questions during AGM but when you had the chance , you refused to ask . A lot of companies are running now and any observant person will understand that there's a big policy shift from over reliance on crude oil and diversifying into other areas especially agriculture which is a big money spinner especially with tariffs being imposed everywhere Agreed we are going into an AI world, Ai can improve your productivity but will not make yam, cocoa, palm oil germinate . Any sharp investor must be street smart. you hear word like blue economy to the extent we have a ministry set up for that, you hear our president about making Agriculture sexy again but some of us are just focused on balance sheet . Go and find out what is happening to the price of cocoa and how Nigeria is beginning to position to become a leader again the production after cote d'ivore and Ghana recently had some blips due to weather and you see the only Cocoa company we have listed on the NGX doing massive volumes in the last 4 weeks and all people are interested in is they do not have any revenue and their balance sheet is in a mess . You want to hear there's a turn around first before you start buying and later accuse village people of having a strong hold on you . Any ways massive shout out to @yMcy56, @surprisepebbles, @currentprice, @agbalowomeri, @biovail@olufemi @emmadot @paEwumiand all the ladies and gentlemen who keep this forum going . Let's just learn to tolerate each other help each other grow financially . I have a lot of respect for people who are into stocks in Nigeria because it tells me they want to do the right thing to make money rather thanusing other means . |

A bunch of them are making a play in asset management now sha, especially in the pensions space. The big ones are probably Leadway (private, so uninvestible for most), Aiico, Cornerstone (Oak Pension), and Axa-Mansard. You'll have to dig into their financials to assess the contribution of non-insurance business to revenue and profits. Streetinvestor2: |

EDUECO:The bolded is not right please. I bought a stock last week on Morgan platform by 10.45am and sold by 1.45pm same day. For avoidance of doubt on why I bought and sold within 4 hour, it is just for a profit of around seven percent, because I don't really have confidence in the stock for a long term, not even one week. |

investmentworld:What makes you believe that your opinion is the right one for the thread. And others opinion is not suitable because you are in the particular stock being posted. The only way you will stop seeing people opinion on any stock whether they have it or not is very simple. Just remove yourself from the thread and you will have your peace of mind. Otherwise everyone has right to post about any stock and it will never change The stock can be good, bad, ugly in the persons opinion |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 10:30am On Jul 04, 2025 |
DeRuggedProff:Lol. No be small thing. When you see opportunity, and you know that Morgan Might not credit you on time, you just have to sell some stagnant stocks to take up such opportunities. |

DeRuggedProff:All those that panic sell @2.70 are jumping back at higher price now.... Bids more than offers at the moment... Weak hands shaking off...... If the rally is the handiwork of MM, we should expect more upside *Updated* More sellers surfacing |
