LOL. You can credibly accuse me of many things. Making fact-free claims isn't one of them. See below the outlook they gave in 2021 about their business. Does the business look anything like this 4 years later? And then there's the promised pigs (culled); the downsizing of the oil mill after promising the world; the shelving of the plans for cassava, soybeans, etc. The better question is: Which operating guidance has the company ever met? ositadima1:

HesInMe:So whr are they now in the out look since 2021 in this area beside the palm farm.Abi from 2021 to date is equally short for the cassava and other crops to make impact.Thr own food crop takes 5 yrs to mature. . I once said what are they paying those personals and workers in the company for if na just the pig and palm farm. The bill is just to high. They should be catching rats and processing it in such land bank to cover such huge expenses as someone who knows the sector. They are obviously going to work to play lido or cards then go home. This is whr you need management that knows the sector well.Thi management obviously don't know how to value services/products against cost paid..The sector is never about office white collar job of just signing papers |

SonofElElyonRet:I tire for this company. To even pay 4k is a problem. Yet to hear that one person had received. Okay, if you don't pay me for the recent one I bought as Japaul Gold why not pay me under the the old school I bought under Japaul oil ![]() |

Great to see your post again after so many years, Feelamong! Kudos for recommending the ticker UCAP back in 2016. I still remember USI-TECH, and I hope they didn't escape with your Bitcoin. Unfortunately, they disappeared with mine. I had to petition the United States Department of Justice and was assigned a case number. I even joined an American online class action against Horst Jicha, the mastermind behind the USI-TECH scam that duped millions of investors worldwide. I've been waiting for a moment like this to share my experience with you. Fast forward to today, I've grown into a self-taught fundamental investor with diversified portfolios in NGX, NYSE, and Binance. I'm no longer seeking stock tips; I've learned to navigate the markets on my own. I believe you've also spent considerable time in this game and have likely become a stock multi-millionaire, much like Great Agbalowomeri, one of the best technical analysts of our time. Though Ichimoku may have locked him out of the market for a couple of years, I'm glad to see you've returned after a long period of silence. The forum has indeed changed over the years. Gone are the days when seasoned analysts dominated the platform with insightful stock analysis. Nowadays, it's taken over by Generation Z and Millennials, and toxicity seems to be the norm. Many of the elders have left, and I've been one of them on several occasions, using multiple deleted monikers that I've lost track of. This current one is active simply because I no longer have access to the activation email for my previous accounts. Whenever I see UCAP dividends and capital appreciation, I'm reminded of you. That stock has consistently beaten inflation, and I'm grateful for the recommendation. feelamong: |

The fear of Atlas Portfolio is the beginning of wisdom for Morgan Securities. The way Atlas Portfolio is onboarding Generation Z clients suggests they might soon become the broker with the highest number of clients in the next 5 years. I think they're being overwhelmed. Streetinvestor2: |

HesInMe:Let’s follow your provided evidence logically. The bolded part is unsubstantiated. When you said “downsizing of the oil mill after promising the world,” what exactly do you mean? What size was promised? It’s a fact that they currently own far more than 5,000 hectares of land — and that’s the only metric in your attachment that has an actual date. Do you even understand what “operational guidance” means, or are you just throwing the term around? You confused me the first time. It refers to operating under standard farming practices. That’s why I was surprised by your conclusion. Are you a quality assurance official who visited their farms to assess compliance with operational standards? Or did you simply mean they didn’t meet their projections? Those are not the same thing. Also, their latest audited financials for 2024 clearly include this information — the oil mill, how much it cost, their land bank, current valuation, and locations. In fact, my friend, you seem to be just throwing jabs into the wind. You have nothing concrete against EllahLakes. Personally, I prefer to go through all verified details — for example, third-party audited financials — before launching criticisms. |

A third-party audit report is as good as a pure accounting exercise and regulatory requirement until proven otherwise. Consider the Tingo Farms case, which was audited by an audit firm before listing on the NYSE, despite the company not existing. Have you forgotten the audit scandals that rocked Nigeria in the 2000s, where many audit firms had to pay severe penalties to the Federal Government? https://www.sec.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2024-157 https://dailypost.ng/2018/06/04/kpmg-sack-400-employees-amid-corruption-scandal/ https://www.bbc.com/news/business-39801990 ositadima1: |

Copied!!! Question of the day. Why is becoming rich so tough? Answer of the day. Because you’re doing it wrong! Tell me, can you take this nail out with your bare hands? Maybe, but very hard to do so! How could you take this nail out easier? WITH LEVERAGE! The ONLY way to become rich is by using some kind of business leverage with tax efficiency! Selling your time in exchange for money is called earned income. Earned income would be like the analogy I used above — taking the nail out with your bare hands. It’s extremely difficult to achieve wealth with earned income! Earned income is the most heavily taxed income. Earned income pays taxes BEFORE expenses. Any disposable income is commonly used to pay living expenses, and not creating wealth. Wealth is ONLY created through assets. To achieve riches you need to convert your earned income into business income, passive income and portfolio income. Copied!!!

Mankind2024:If third-party auditors — certified and licensed by the government and recognized by the current NGX — can’t be trusted, then we’re facing a problem that goes far beyond EllahLakes. How, then, can we trust the auditors of companies with even greater resources? That would be chaos. Are you implying that we should start selecting firms based on who their auditors are? If so, kindly share your list of trusted auditors. ![]() |

https://thewhistler.ng/audit-scandal-forces-pwc-out-of-nine-african-countries/ How, then, can we trust the auditors of companies with even greater resources? This is a valid concern. The greatest problem in Nigeria today is weak regulatory institutions. Some institutions are indeed working towards improvement, including NAFDAC, NDLEA, SEC, NGX, CBN, and NUC. Auditors face limitations and challenges, including complex financial transactions, time constraints, sampling methods, management override, auditor independence, and evolving regulations. To build trust, measures such as rotating audit firms, enhanced audit committee oversight, stricter audit standards, increased transparency, and whistleblower mechanisms can be implemented. ositadima1: |

Rexkingsley:Since she is deceased and the shares are in her name, the road go long oo. Just take a look at the CSCS statements with you and check whether the quantity and the types of shareholdings are worth the effort . If you were to go see the stockbrocking firm that issued the statement, ordinary updated , recent statement they will not avail you under the guise that the account isn't in your name. The stock broking firm will require a letter of administration from the court amongst other legal road blocks . So check whether it is worth your effort. |

Let us begin to ask questions so that they can call the ceo of ellaja kpakus to ask him When they took over ellahlakes in 2019.The ceo promised to deliver 20 tonnes per hour mill Why is he delivering 3 tonnes per hour mill after 5 yrs. When they answer. We ask another. The margin btw 20 and 3 is very large in numbers and qualifies as under performance. Telluria farm was already cultivated palm farm Are you saying that cultivation just started when they took over ellahlakes My findings shows they only increased by 200 hectares to what already existed since 5 yrs Show contrary facts if I am wrong. Let now see those who ellahlakes is not another of thr goods on alaba international market disguised as investment on ngx |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by handsomebolanle: 9:14am On Jul 05, 2025 |
Streetinvestor2:The first question was answered during the last meeting. As regards the Telluria farm, I think it’s best you attend the next AGM and ask the question yourself. No one will be able to give you a satisfactory answer here. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 9:34am On Jul 05, 2025 |
handsomebolanle:Nice reply. The time you took in typing this here. You could have just said this was the reason or response to first question as you whr part of the meeting. I have not gone or asked to have meetings with alhaji, Tony, otedola etc as I am invested in thr businesses. Abi because one is in ellahlakes. He has to be having meetings with the ceo. Then for AGM.I don't have a unit of ellahlakes and don't intend to buy.So I don't have business with the agm or still don't qualify for it. You can tell us why it was down to 3 tonnes .I asked the question because some people said they have not failed in thr promises since they took over. And we should start asking the right questions. I have asked for the food crop aspect before this as it equally had an out look from the takeover as it does not require 5 yrs . Welcome to this thread. I am seeing this moniker for the first time here.I hope you did not just come because of ellahlakes only |
