That’s actually despicable - God willing they pick up the pace and you hear this month. Certainly seems like there is a backlog now

Hi family please I overstayed 8months in China 2023 after covid , my passport renewal took time which led to my overstay. In 2024 I got 5 days T visa on my new passport and I left China 3 days before d 5 days. Now I want to join hubby on ireland. Will they ask for old passport which has expired for over 3 years now? Pls help me

I think VFS sometimes refuses collecting all pages of the previous passport and takes only the biometric page.
Note that all pages of the previous and current passport is what is required. So I would advise you go with it.

Nothing yet from my own end….. but the rate of refusal on those pages is high…..🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿🤞🏿

No for now. However I don’t think there is join family applicant on the list that was released and if there is any its the first number.
