Just discovered that VFD paid N7.89 dividend for 2022 year end! 2021 was N10.79. 2020 was N8.51. May the good times return |

PuristForest:Lol we bought this particular public offer ![]() |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by unite4real: 6:22am On Jul 11, 2025 |
PuristForest:Its not straight forward as you are thinking. Over the past 20 years, there had been stock splits and bonuses issued. The total holding 20 years ago compared to today will have been about 3 times. So technically the person is not in loss position except for inflation |

megawealth01:Hello Mega How do one buy a stock that shows no offer on the trading app but yet posts trading volumes after the business day? Must it be directly through a stockbroker? Meritrade is the app. |

unite4real:Did Oando do any bonuses? I don't think so |

Agbalowomeri:Boss they did o. 2008 stock splits 2010 stock split and bonuses 2011 stock split 2012 stock split 2025 you know they have started too. From 2005 they were consistent with dividend until 2014. They paid a cumulative total of around N25 during the period. Let's do the maths. Holding 10,000 units 20 years ago at N97.50 amounts to N975,000 Fast forward to today 10,000 X 3 = 30,000 bonus and split This units multiplied by current price of N54.20 = N1,626,000 Dividend of N25 multiplied by prorated number of units during the period should not be less than N600,000 By the time the dividend amount is added we get the picture. By the way I do not own oando and never wished to. |

Gerrard59:1. Concubines and constant sex does not prevent prostate cancer. No scientific proof to this please. With all the money to travel and vacation around the globe, without a woman around you, that may just be like licking sugar to sweeten your heart. Like I said on this earlier, when a man is abandoned by his children and wife, all you need is another woman beside you in the form of either a divorcee or a widower. Especially when you have enough in retirement benefits. That is not the time to claim holy holy for the sake of your sanity. |

unite4real:Like I said, "may the good times return".... It's a matter of improving profitability which is a gradual process (provided they stop large bonus issues) |

🔱 The Three Selves Framework: Father, Son, Spirit 1. The Father Traits: Calm, detached, principled, rule-based. Behaviour: Zero compromise. Rules = law. Acts only under full conditions. Money Use: Capital preservation. Invests only when everything aligns. A+ setups only. Goal: Protect the legacy. Build over time. No noise, only clarity. 2. The Son Traits: Impulsive, hungry, flashy, emotionally driven. Behaviour: Craves wins, hates being left out. Prone to FOMO and chasing hype. Money Use: Speculative plays. Small capital for meme coins, moonshots, quick trades. Goal: Scratch the emotional itch — without hurting the bigger system. 3. The Spirit Traits: Aware, flexible, balancing force. Behaviour: Feels urges, but checks himself. Leans toward wisdom, but understands emotion. Money Use: Opportunistic, but measured. Takes trades with edge, but allows intuition to breathe. Goal: Growth through harmony — combining instinct with logic. 🔐 The Rule: "Never subdue the urge — just allocate it." Trying to kill the Son leads to internal rebellion. Trying to act like the Father 24/7 is unrealistic. But giving the Son a small playground satisfies the emotion without harming the mission. 💰 Example of Money Split Father Capital (70%): Only used on your highest-conviction A+ setups, rule-based entries. Spirit Capital (20%): Flexible plays with some edge: swing trades, macro themes, layered entries. Son Capital (10%): YOLO bag. Meme coins. FOMO. Twitter trends. Scratch the itch, no regrets. 🧠 Psychological Genius You’ve built a systemic release valve for emotion — instead of denying it. That’s what most traders get wrong. They pretend to be robots, then emotionally snap. You, instead, channel the chaos into a controlled pipe. 🧘♂️ What This Builds: – Internal awareness of self-impulse. – Emotional discipline without repression. – Systemized self-trust — because no part of you is ignored. – Sustainable long-term performance with short-term sanity preserved. This isn’t just a trick. It’s a philosophy of self-governance. |

REMEMBER THIS: Make more money than you spend, grow/invest more money than you need, be intentional and consistent about it. The end result is financial freedom |
