I planned to stop using them since 2023, but I kept postponing because of new features. Seems this is the year I'd probably stop using them and just focus on Afternic.

With there yeye stats and preferential treatments on investors with large portfolios

Yes you have the lead next is outbounding and follow up, you've sacrificed your time and energy+data in that follow up for about 3 months + now still nothing to show for it But the domain name is good 😁, the problem is that you're not outbounding rather you're just outbounding ‼️

Yes you've sold domain/domains using this pattern but why is it not working now? Is time to change your approach ASAP! For instance you have a domain name Florida mummy and Daddy dot com and you have gotten about 100 leads and did outbounding but nothing to show for it.

Now is time to move from quantity to quality just like in domain names we also have correct quality lead, not everyone likes or prioritize domain name no matter how good it fits their business. How do you create this quality leads then? Personalize your outreach!! That's the only way out now, I know you will be like how do I even personalize my outreach for every domain name I have that's stressful and probably not possible, Now This is how you will do it

If your domain name is Florida mummy and Daddy, instead of outbounding blindly to 150 Florida mummy and Daddy businesses sometimes the leads are not 100 percent accurate infact if you use those softwares there's a high chance that 60 percent or 70 percent of your outbounding are going to people that wouldn't even dare to pay to have your domain name, The epistle is long already to cut it short, Use Chat GPT and search for the top mummy and Daddy business in Florida if the result is only 10 or 15, get their emails and company names and attache them in your sales letter ✉️ like that you will know you're talking to Bryan@mummyanddadyy, include their names and company names in your letter, ask them will you be interested? Have you discussed with your team? Is this something you would need? Outline the importance of the domain name. If you can't reach the CEO search for the Senior director of digital marketing in the business, those are the decision makers and not ordinary staffs

Follow up gently, your follow up should be in form of question, did you read my ?? Hi Bryan your company is one of the best ... And this domain name will enhance..., am I speaking with a decision maker? Possible to connect me with the right person for this or could you please forward the email to them, make friends!! Let them see the value, let them feel you're talking to them alone, like this they won't perceive your email as just a random brokie cheap domain investor that wants a free $$$

Doing this will bring your clients closer to you and increase your response rate and sales and generally restore the normalcy in code outreach that's been overthrown by mad spammy outbounders

Don’t be the guy with 100 names and 1,000 random emails. Be the professional with 100 names and 10 qualified, targeted, personalized pitches.

Note: some names will sell with little to no effort but still no work no sale, infact no smart work no sales

chat GPT did not even bring up to 6 companies that for a domain that has over 40 end users and the 6 are already on my mailing list. Is there anything you did different to search on it. Please this is for learning sake as I am looking for more efficient ways to sell off my little GEO domain I have left.

What's your Atom premium portfolio size? Planning to add 10 more to make it to silver so I can access their sold database. Then cross list at afternic.

At its height, my entire premium-accepted domains on there was about 38. I have let some expire - currently down to 32.

I believe I have other domains in my portfolio that would have been accepted if submitted for premium listings to push the count past 50. I just decided to not waste more money for submission based on my experience with them.

As for the bold, they only allow you to list coin-submitted Premiums on Afternic. But prices set on the latter must be at least 10% higher and one must also not activate LTO. That's too restrictive for me, especially the no LTO part.

I did an outbound for one of my domain,one guy said he is not interested but he has about 25 domains to sell and I ask him to go ahead and list the 25 domains, this man just registered many nonsense and I didn't even reply him,this is about 4 days ago,now baba dey follow me up if I have any interest among the 25 domains.

In 2022 I was selling nothing less than 1-3 domain names per week, not per month... but it is no longer that way.

The last domain names I sold this month we via Inbound, and I would attribute my ability to go a month without selling a domain to experience and how I pick domains.

Things have changed over the years, and even domainers who have made much bigger sales are complaining. Now, add to the way GoDaddy brokers handle domain brokerage, and you will see there is a problem.

From my understanding, in the screenshot I shared, Atom gives you 50 bonus coins when you get to the silver seller level. I intend to use those to list my names at afternic. The major reason for striving to achieve their silver status is access to their sales reports.

You have to get to gold status for that

The bold is still the part I don't get. What do coins have to do with Afternic? I thought you only need them mostly for Premium submissions at Atom. 🤨

Only premium names submitted and approved with coins on Atom can be listed on Afternic.

If you have premium names on Atom that were approved without coins, in order to list them on Afternic, you must spend some coins.

This GoDaddy broker thing sha, I have like 6 stalled leads this 2025 with one that converted for $1K initial offer for a mid 4fig name. I thought the broker will at least try to settle at the middle..the broker dey act somehow. Being my first encounter with Afternic-broker deal, I just sharply accept the deal at least it's a portfolio of 30 inbound names and got the name for $8.88, so why not.

Maybe I should have made a 'counter offer' and a message for the broker but I just told the broker to get a good deal and he said they can't go beyond the initial $1K offer. All na learning sha.

The name that the house helped with the transfer is shown below. Thanks to everyone on the thread that helped me out. Really appreciate!

Those brokers are inexperienced. The last person who handled my sale was writing like a secondary school kid and the sale never happened. I later moved the domain name to spaceship and the buyer came back but still didn't pay. I canceled and increased the price on Afternic and Spaceship. The weyrey went to buy it via Godaddy at a much higher price

Good morning house. My ogas please I need clarification on something. I want to list a domain on atom. I wanted to add a payment method. I actually have created a virtual US account on grey. But, there is no GREY payment option. So now I am trying to create a US account with WISE also. But in the processing I was ask to send money. My question:
1. Is there a smarter or cheaper option to go about this WISE virtual account creation.
2. If there is another option entirely different and better payment option I can go with.

I didn't know that's what he meant. I knew that already. I thought he probably meant that's a way to list Atom Premiums at the same prices on Afternic and also enable LTO there.

My problem with Atom right now is not even that I must list for a price, at least, 10% higher on Afternic but not being allowed to also use the LTO option on the second marketplace.

If there's a bank account option, simply provide your Grey USD bank account details. You shouldn't look out for a Grey payment option.

However, I could recommend that you send money to your Wise account to activate it. It's your money. They don't charge you for receiving money to your USD bank account and their exchange rate was impressive - at least, for now.
