@Megawealth, did you see the Richard Templar audiobook I dedicated to you? No acknowledgment.
Na woman matter dey sweet you.
Anyway, Investors are faithful, they don't double-date or cheat. I wouldn't try that with Agbalowomeri. If I did, how would I maintain tax compliance and grow my portfolios?
As i no dey see Double bottom on charts.
My principle is strictly fundamental. If i take the Lady from Agba, how i go take retrace and extend at the signal point of fibonacci not to talk of getting lost in Ichimoku Tenkan-Sen, Kijun-Sen, Senkou-Span A/B, and the final Lagging Span.
Pls and pls, make u no cause Kasala btw me and Agba.

Me thinking aloud concerning ngx.Sometimes thr is multiplier effect when things happen. I hope the burst of one company does not send mistrust to new comers into ngx which may create bloody red on ngx. It will equally affect me oh.The regulators need to sit up to thr responsibilities on time
My candid advice for beginners in the Nigerian Stock Exchange is for them to buy companies that have been paying dividends consistently for the past 10 years.

With the above,I'm quite sure they would never have any reason to regret in the next 5 to 10 years.

Do we said N158,000,000 based on the exchange rate?

This is how you peddle cheap lies because you have ties to certain platforms. Trades that are executed on NGX with trade alerts sent by CSCS how is Bamboo playing you? The average cost computation is done based on the lifetime cost of any security in your portfolio. I found it very helpful and a lot of traders have even requested for it to be brought back (I attached screenshots I just pulled from Twitter)

How do you disparage a platform on a public forum based on false information? Bamboo today is the leading stock investment app (for local & foreign stocks) for retail investors in Nigeria, if you want to sleep well at night then I’d recommend you pick them. I’ve used the app for years trading US stocks and I’ve never had an issue.
Hey man, just to be clear—we’re not fighting. I’m a lifelong learner and always open to being corrected, so no hard feelings at all.

That said, I’ve got a question: let’s say I buy Oando stock, then sell everything and completely exit the position. Later on, if I decide to buy the stock again, does my average cost start fresh, or will it include the previous transactions from the past that I’ve already closed out? Please I want the house input on this,

As she don't panic sell majority of his holdings at 7, he couldn't believe his eyes.
grin grin

We know who the noise makers are.
grin grin grin

I'm 80% sure that most of speculators and traders don't quickly panic sold at 7 and 10 thinking the ship was about to sink.

Seeing someone picking 50m units in cross deal on Friday was their nightmare, they couldn't believe it.they thought the fuel has finished not knowing that, it's hard to predict the market.

That Friday volume in ellahlakes surprised not only the pessimist even the professional TA guys not the ones that are looking for money for food oooo grin because it happened when they thought the party was about to be over.
grin grin grin grin
The party is about to start.

This is to bring to your notice that 95% of NSEPA who don't believe in ellahlakes have sold all/majority.

They are looking for trading opportunities, knowing fully well that they can get their finger burnt...the reason for looking for reasons to depressed the price...you can go to media houses to achieve that coz many here have sold...

Your badmouthing wouldn't work.

If you never sell majority/all screenshot your holdings.

I challenge the people badmouthing ellahlakes since Friday till today apart from street.

Sometimes I wondered if people even have conscience.

From a TA perspective, EllahLakes may drop to ₦7. It’s been moving without strong backing, and I think it could come down to ₦7 and oscillate between ₦7 and ₦9 until a major driver emerges again.

Remember, fundamentally, at ₦12.60 per share, the company should either be paying around 90 kobo in dividends or generating free cash flow close to ₦3 billion, given its current outstanding shares.

Don’t get carried away — take profit while you can. lipsrsealed

Live and Let Live

These arguments and postulations about Ellah lakes and Oando over the weeks are a waste of space and unnecessary.

Let those who believe in them buy and those who dont believe should abstain. Inasmuch as we can only use our fund to trade and nobody can force you to press the buy button on anytrade ,arguing these things is meaningless.

You wouldn’t understand, would you? Your views are purely black and white — either good or bad, with no in-between.

There’s nothing wrong with that if it works for you, honestly — just saying.

I’m a Delsu Abraka X-Boy who grew up in Benin, go and ask, we nor dey fear face. If I had ties with other platforms, I’d own it with my full chest. That said, let’s focus on the real issue here.

I’ve asked a straightforward question, and for transparency’s sake, I’ve even attached my correspondence with the Bamboo app for your review. Like I mentioned before, I might be wrong and I stand corrected if that’s the case. I genuinely believe that what we don’t know is often bigger than us, which is why I always approach things with a learner’s mindset.

Now, here’s the question again: if I previously bought a stock and sold it. meaning the transaction is fully closed and I later decide to buy that same stock again, does my new purchase inherit the average cost from my past transactions?

According to the Bamboo team, it does, but I strongly doubt that. If the answer is yes, then fine, lesson learned. But from my experience with Morgan Capital, I’ve never seen this kind of calculation carried over like that.

Please take the time to read the attached correspondence carefully. I’m open to clarity, but I’m also calling things as they appear.

Your average cost will start afresh if you sold everything completely from the previous transaction.
The calculation is based on a moving weighted average but it will start afresh after you sold everything and closed out.
