You will be able to move your investment from them to your preferred broker. They will try to frustrate you, but, if you stay the course, you'll win at last.

The way to go about it is to open an account with your new broker. Inform them that you have an existing portfolio with another broker which you would like to transfer to them (the new broker). They will guide you on what to do.

Ourown:
I am also frustrated by this bamboo app, if I open a new broker account, please can I move my assets from bamboo or would I have to sell?

from experience, when everybody begins to analyse and talk about a company stock so voraciously, this is the time to be cautious and even reduce your exposure and just wait for the market reaction. Like said before, many on here especially have seen the needle move on their portfolio, everything you touch turns to gold. This is a traders fallacy and can easily lead to a confirmation bias - this is a tendency to search, interpret, favor and recall information that confirms our preexisting beliefs - a trader who only sees the good side of a technique and ignores the bad side of it despite being exposed to it....in reality we must deal with the exposure, both positive and negative sides of everything that we do. i dont think EL is not done but its extended as is and needs some bit of correction, you can hold but know your limits. personally, i dont see EL doing 15 in this current rally but you never anyone can be wrong in this market, we only put our best foot forward...my thoughts >>

With the current bull in other stocks....That's the definition of a trap. >N500m (100,000 shares) in a single trade needed to move the price!

The pullback was an opportunity for most people to get into DEAP CAP at a discount...

In all your gettings get DEAP and keep it with PATIENT FUNDS. If they get things right they should hit #10 for the long term

is this first time ellahlakes will pull back? Have you ever seen me said it's not going to pull back?
Pull back to that your 7 is not achievable soon as you have predicted, may be after the egm.

But ellahlakes don't pull back for two days in this current rally before na. What is new here.

Very disappointing stock. I don't know if it's even the owners dumping their holdings. All the volume for over three weeks yet no reasonable movement.

It has even fallen below 25 at the moment. 24.85

It doesn't have to be in the news, if it gets to the news then you won't see it to buy for months be that. That's why I said use PATIENT FUNDS

I really dont understand how you guys trade stocks?

as at the point of buying, I have an exit target i have set based on its current valuations; I will only review this target if and when new information comes in to either make me exit earlier or stay longer...

This does not however follow for the stocks i keep for long term dividend plays

Newbies take note

Stock price movement up or down is determined by many factors, not only fundamentals.

Factors that can bring about stock price movement apart from fundamentals:

Rumor/news - bad or good
Mere market sentiments
Government policy- new or old
The general economic situation of the country
Speculations
Result expectations - good or bad
Manipulations - sometimes by MM or HNI
Free float size of the shares of a company/shareholding structure
External influence/world economy
Economic situation and policies of advanced economies
etc

So when you see price movement, try and do your due diligence, which includes finding out which of the
factor(s) is causing the movement so that you can make an informed investment decision.

Don't forget, stock investment is a marathon, not a sprint.

Enjoy the Bullish run while it lasts.

so their delayed feed is normal? I have also been using them and every morning they delay their trade feed for retail investors. All prices and data start slowing down from 10am till 12pm. Then they allow it to start flowing normally again

The market generally was a bit down today and that may continue even tomorrow.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by GeeKudi: 1:49pm On Jul 14, 2025
I see it as a glitch and I think it is not peculiar to them because I have seen it on some other platforms too.

Very apt!
That is why it is not a field for the indolent, shallow and barely educated fellows. An average Nigerian youth without any apology from me belong in that category. And that is why when you have a thread on the front page of Nairaland concerning the NSE or shares in general, the comments are heart wrenching.

RIP to Sai baba. He is right after all.
