Please address the issue of not digging the grave up to six feet? And that small opening at the middle of the grave is used for what?

Hmmm ...as I read questions kept popping up in my head ... why not bury the body naked? ... as it came from the earth? ... or did the body come wrapped? If the body can be placed in cloth why can't it be placed in a box? ..a wooden box? I really don't buy into being buried in cloth shows humility . Some very arrogant people were buried in cloth wrap. The rules and guidelines may not be perfect ... but iare 444more in line with Christian values.

Nobody forces anyone to break bank to bury their deads. It's their choice. Some muslims after burying without coffin still do lavish party. What is important is for people to do whatever they do within their means and in tandem with their culture. Every culture cannot be the same.

In some communities you are forced.
You have to settle certain interest before you are even allowed to commence the funeral rites proper. I don't have the time i would have explained more.

Pigs could dig it, and I heard in some tales that a pig did dug a Muslim leader grave which is why Muslims don't eat pig.

In some deep communities in kano state, hyenas dig up graves of some Muslims and feed on the corpse in during the night, this is because the graves are shallow.

Infact to fulfill all righteousness they should bury the folk naked as they came to earth.
