KarlTom:You know that offer can reverse to bid with these penny stocks that have many speculators as holders.. once it gets to its low, it will stabilize and then resume upward movement especially if exciting news is released or good quarterly result |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 7:37pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
I don’t trust Femi personally lol. I stay away. I think on P/B UBA should still be the cheapest. And they’ll likely pay N2 or N3 interim to get money out for the rights. It can also be a time to sell potentially tomorrow because I’m not sure if they can maintain it at this price in the market Ginalex: |

Sunrisepebble:With GTco at over N100 and Zenith at its back. UBA should not just maintain but also surpass N50. |
| Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 7:50pm On Jul 16, 2025 |
I don’t think face value share price is the right way to look at it. Even from that perspective it has always traded at a 50% or so discount to GT by face value. Personally I have heavy units in UBA I bought around N30 that I don’t mind offloading tomorrow at N50+. Just my own investment decision Mpeace: |

Don't forget that the man is a Forbes billionaire. He knows the value of high stock price. And now with those other guys out he doesn't have to worry about enriching his enemies. He may even get CBN to allow banks to pay dividends. Infact some speculated that the whole CBN forbearance measures threats were designed to add pressure on those guys to accept the deal and leave FBN. ojeysky: |

Hope you guys know that banking stocks, and indeed any stock, can't continue to rise ad infinitum.. if you buy at the top, be ready for pull back and to be converted from trader to investor (which is also cool).. profit takers will surely do their thing.. as they have done today with Ellah, CI leasing, Caverton, Japaul etc ![]() |
