I haven’t met anyone who amassed significant wealth in a country without having some level of confidence in its opportunities and systems. Every person I know who achieved legitimate wealth demonstrated a strong belief in the potential of that country.

When I first left the shores of Nigeria, 90% of the foreigners I met complained bitterly about my host nation. I didn’t. I kept my faith in the system firm even when the system worked against me. I was called names but I knew I was applying a scriptural principle. 80% of my fundamental principles are scriptural. I have always lived with the principles of the BIBLE. The people of Israel excelled in foreign lands by loving and marrying from the land. Read the bible again. It doesn’t mean that you must mandatorily marry from the land but you must build a deep relationship with the land and its people to such an extent it would be likened to a marriage.

If you want Nigeria to bless you, BLESS HER.
If you want Europe to bless you, always bless Europe.

If you want China to prosper you , bless her.
Those who want America to bless them will always say “God bless America “ even when they are angry at Trump or Biden.

It’s not about the country - it’s about YOU. The country will outlive YOU - it’s bigger than YOU. Humble yourself and exalt your country. Believe in your country. Every person I know who achieved legitimate wealth demonstrated a strong belief in the potential of that country.

I unapologetically believe in the greatness of Nigeria and the potential of Africa and the global community...

It is possible for some of the money to go back to FBN to settle some of the NPLs associated with the Otudeco group.

Melcapital, it seems you have unmasked Megawealth01 in this faceless forum. The two write up is more or less the same to me. The coincidences can happen in so many things (can't rule that out completely) . Except we would charge someone for plagiarism. grin
Well, l wait for the response of Megawealth01 to this post. I believe he is a man of principles and integrity.

The volume in UBA share purchase today and the total number of bids after market closure is a good indication of institutional investors interest in the stock.
We keep riding
Nice bull.
With NB amongst the three banks (UBA, Zenith, Access) with these huge volumes, indeed suggest institutional investors entering the market. I hope they are mainly Nigerian and not foreign ones. Especially Nigerian ones moving from money markets with falling yields. This may even happen more if their money market bids are rejected. So which of these is happening or what else is happening if something else?

What are your thoughts on this?
cc: @emmanuelewumi

My thinking is that if FBNH is stoked up, we will see a general bull in other FUGAZ so far the fundamentals are good.
Thanks for this. What does SOL stand for. FBNH got too many reds in the picture.

Please house, how much in fees and other charges should I expect to pay if I sign up with Stanbic IBTC stockbrokers and buy stocks on ngx through them? I want to know what stanbic and ngx will charge for buying and selling. I want to start with 3m and I'm told I'll first lose like 4% in fees and charges before I see any benefit (dividend and price appreciation), if any. I'm a complete novice on this please just doing my research.

What about those who invested for long term?
Should they vacate their holdings when there is bear, in absence of national emergency?
I know you've been holding some stocks for over 5 years; would you vacate your holdings in the face of bear?
I'm only trying to learn from you please, not tackling you.
