Samuel Babatunde if not connected to Ote$ will become the majority owner. If this is the position then I will encourage Ote$ to buy more in order to regain dominance. Let them do the bidding thing that led to price increase.
I don't equally believe he represents ote.The guys who sold may equally have say to who they will agree to sell thr holdings. And it will be wrong for otedola to control 40% ownership of fbn if he was allowed to buy that stake..Fbn was not started by his family now.

Survey: Over 62% of Nigerians want interest rates lowered ahead of MPC meeting

https://nairametrics.com/2025/07/19/survey-over-62-of-nigerians-want-interest-rates-lowered-ahead-of-mpc-meeting/#google_vignette
I personally believe interest rate should be maintained at this rate to avoid another spike.

Cardi b should only lower rate when inflation durably starts breaking down.

The economy is showing healthy recovery. It is too early to switch to turn dovish now without certainty that inflation is tamed

I understand you bro, I know when you asked the newbies to reduce their exposure in weak fundamental stocks and transfer the funds to strong ones. That's very kind of you, not everyone here will do such thing.

Besides, stock market is highly risky globally, even the ones that are sound today were once weak years back, and can still return to weakness and even be deleted from the mkt like Savannah bank, etc, while those that are weak today can still be sound in the coming years, like nahco, etc, and may still go down in coming years.

So, the mkt is all about timing and spreading your eggs in many baskets as you do. I really wonder the yardstick some people use to measure and conclude that a weak stock today can't be strong and vice versa. I think it's all about making money from each side and returning it to the other.

Please ignore the children and move on, with time, they'll still mature. Personally, I've learned a lot from your concept of stock market approach. It really marvels me that you are almost in all the stock in our local exchange. With this approach it only takes the going down of Nigeria, for you to go down. Please I need to learn more sir

It seems those first bank shares might end up in Ote$ hand. It's said to be with FG's trustee and a decision will be made in 2-3weeks as to where it will end up.

Kai. You are too far behind in the news. This new line of rumor mill was already denied by the bank itself.

Some people are fronting for politicians.

I don't think they will go through all the trouble of taking the bank from the hands of the Otudekos just to now give it to shaky hands. They said RC is aligned with Renaissance Capital. They also said Renaissance is big in GTCO. I think that should point to a good future FBN.
