These biscuits were quite sweet back then.

With 5 Naira or so, you get one of them.

So sad what the cheapest biscuit costs now.

I like Stixi and speedy more but speedy is not like before

As a kid, I did not trust any girl that like biscuits so much. They liked to hang around boys that could afford extra biscuits. And you know what follows.
I am not saying all of them but majority.

... and Banana Chewing gum was one Naira each.

We always saved some the money my parents gave us for snacks in Primary School because we always have change after buying our snacks.

Milk Maid Biscuit was my favorite back then.

You see that speedy, it tastes like chocolate. I used to demand nothing but speedy. Okin biscuits (the shortcake precisely) was already a scarce commodity.

It all started when they started making shortbread and digestive biscuits in Nigeria instead of the original ones from mcvites in Denmark.
The Nigeria ones , not enough milk taste, just bland.

Bazuka Joe was 10 kobo for a full pack of 24 piece in 1981.

Some are still around, like coconut and digestive but the taste has no correlations with the ones we tasted in 90s as kids, seriously Nigeria is gone!, this images brought a kind of nostalgic feelings in me.

You see that digestive biscuit, my love for it knows no bound.

I pity children these days. Nothing to enjoy in Naija again. Atleast we went to zoo and used 10naira and 5naira notes.

Coconut biscuit was my favorite biscuit then🍪 I usually combine it with soy milk.🥛
That combo was mad and I do make sure I eat it every evening before going to bed, I miss it

As in my brother,the biscuit they are making now honestly na when sapa catch me i dey chop am unless you have big money to buy the quality ones

If no be those yellow crackers they sell 100 naira, I No fit use my money buy any other biscuit, cabin now na nonsense.
I still buy that crackers of 100 naira in cartons for breakfast where I eat 8 once.

Year 2000 was the year I finished UNIBEN. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Most of these biscuits went into extinction even before APC took power. I chao these biscuits well well.
